I used to be able to buy this in the local store. I’m glad I could order it because for the longest time I could not get it at all. I use the recipes on the bag.

Lots of black bugs in this flour. I get King Arthur's flour about once a month and never an issue. This one had so many! I didn't even take it back or take pictures m, I just wanted it out of my house!

I would have loved to have tried the flour, but I can only rate what I received. Normally I would find it unfair to include the delivery experience in the product rating, but "shipping only" is the only option for me to purchase this flour so I must include the delivery as part of the product rating. If I could buy this locally, I would rate the product as the product stands on its own. Since Sam's now has a $50 minimum for free shipping, I decided to add a bag to my smallish shipping order to push it over the $50 limit. Sam's packed and shipped the $10 flour separately as I expected they would. The package was shipped on time and it would have arrived on time, but FedEx delayed the package on the day it was supposed to be delivered. They actually had it on the truck outside my house, but they instead drove it back to the FedEx warehouse for "package inspection". At this point I knew I would not be receiving an intact bag of flour. What I received a day late was a crushed, opened, broken box, that was sloppily covered in clear packing tape that was coated in flour. While clearly FedWrecks has some responsibility for the package handling, Sam's also bears responsibility for not packing a 25 pound bag of flour properly. FedEx "should" have returned it to Sam's so it could be replaced, but instead it appears FedEx tried to "fix" the package disaster with packing tape and make the delivery anyway. Since you cannot return the flour online, it was returned to the local Club the same day it was received, as shipped, and unopened. Literally, I never opened the packing box and just returned the entire box as received. The return process was smooth, but overall it's a waste of time and money to expect Sam's to be able to safely deliver a 25 pound bag of flour across from hundred's of miles away. As it stands, the experience from start to finish probably cost magnitudes more in gas and working wages than the simple $10 retail price of a bag of flour. You can bet that cost will be added to some other product in your total grocery bill. Sam's... You can do better. I'd like to try the flour someday, but I cannot in good conscience keep ordering low priced, shipping only item that has a low chance of arriving intact.

Have been exclusively using this brand in my bread makers. Make them regularly, have never encountered any problems. Started a new bag, past three attempts have resulted in wet dough, consequently breads that have not risen. Yeast is new, recipes are unchanged, but the breads are not right. Will return for another bag and hopefully the flour will be like before.

Come on Sam's club not once but twice. First bag was expired and had a hold in it. Replacement order expired again it's very disgusting and on top of that we have to deal with your reps on the phone giving me $8 cash so now it's all about the money??? They won't take it back 50 lb of flour but where am I supposed to dispose of this? they said it's a perishable item so why are you sending out expired perishable items.

I don't often leave reviews, this flour is premium, I could not be more pleased with the results. It makes a huge difference in the quality of my sandwich bread and rolls. This has the best value, and I am completely satisfied with this purchase and highly recommend it for anyone who bakes bread.

I bake homemade sourdough bread and it takes 2 lbs for one recipe that makes 3 loaves. I save over 50% by buying it from Sam's instead of the local grocery stores. I enjoy sharing these loaves with friends and family. The only Sam's I can get it that is fairly close by is the Meridian and the Pearl Sam's. Neither the Hattiesburg nor the one in Gulfport carries it. I have requested the Hattiesburg Sam's to start carrying it, since that is the one I shop at the most.

I’m accustomed to spending a small fortune for the expensive yet consistent name brand KA flour, but took a chance and now I won’t go back. For under $13 I can get 4x the amount of flour. I use this flour for breads, pizza dough, sweet rolls, and dinner rolls weekly. I love the protein content and strong gluten structure this flour creates. The flavor when using milk is thee best.

I have been buying this flour for years. My store stopping selling it for the last few months I thought it was simply a Covid thing but I asked a store associate about it and he said it was discontinued?!!! This flour is a great price and great flavor. I make all my breads for my family and extended family holiday get togethers

This flour was wonderful until I tried to use it a month after purchase. Inside the entire bag were many little black weevils, and the pale eggs of other weevils to come. I was shocked. But I believe if it is kept in the freezer upon purchase and returned to the freezer (or fridge if you have space) there may be no weevils.
