This flour was wonderful until I tried to use it a month after purchase. Inside the entire bag were many little black weevils, and the pale eggs of other weevils to come. I was shocked. But I believe if it is kept in the freezer upon purchase and returned to the freezer (or fridge if you have space) there may be no weevils.

Have been exclusively using this brand in my bread makers. Make them regularly, have never encountered any problems. Started a new bag, past three attempts have resulted in wet dough, consequently breads that have not risen. Yeast is new, recipes are unchanged, but the breads are not right. Will return for another bag and hopefully the flour will be like before.

I have been using Members Mark Bread Flour to make rolls for about 20 years. It is perfect to use in my bread machine. Imagine my disappointment to find that is not available in Sams or on line. I purchased the all-purpose flour and ended up with a glob mess.

I buy this to make bread in my breadmachine. So much better to have fresh bread at home and so much cheaper than paying $4 something for only 5 pounds! I only wish they carried the whole wheat flour in the same type of package but I can't have everything!

This review is not of the actual flour, rather the marketing used to sell it. The flour is marketed as 13.7% to 14.3% protein content, when in fact it is 10% protein content. This is based on the actual nutrition label from the product. I'm sure there will be some trolls that write that I don't know how to calculate protein content, however, I actually do. If a serving size is 30 grams and contained within that is 3 grams of protein, the math is simple 3 is 10% of 30. Also, I'm writing this as a guy that bakes about 60 loaves of sourdough bread per month. And high protein content is very important to the development of gluten.

I absolutely love this bread flour. I buy it all the time because of it's high protein and great chewy taste. But I have two sam's near me that sell it but all of a sudden the last month they haven't been carrying it? Please don't get rid of this flour!

I’m accustomed to spending a small fortune for the expensive yet consistent name brand KA flour, but took a chance and now I won’t go back. For under $13 I can get 4x the amount of flour. I use this flour for breads, pizza dough, sweet rolls, and dinner rolls weekly. I love the protein content and strong gluten structure this flour creates. The flavor when using milk is thee best.

I couldn't believe the price for this 25lb bag of bread flour. I was hoping for the best. Well, WOW and WOW. I have been baking breads since receiving and ALL of my baked goods have turned out to be outstanding. I am very impressed with this bread flour. I definitely will purchase again!

I am unable to give a review when I received a bag that expired 5/16/25. I called customer service. I was told they would send me a replacement bag. Today, I received my new bag with the exact same expired date on it! I just wanted to leave everyone know to check the date on the bag when you receive your order.
