Come on Sam's club not once but twice. First bag was expired and had a hold in it. Replacement order expired again it's very disgusting and on top of that we have to deal with your reps on the phone giving me $8 cash so now it's all about the money??? They won't take it back 50 lb of flour but where am I supposed to dispose of this? they said it's a perishable item so why are you sending out expired perishable items.

Bring back unbleached please!

I'm sure this is excellent flour but before Members Mark had their own brand they offered an unbleached all purpose and bread flour. I was excited to see the Members Mark Brand offered until I read both were bleached. Please consider offering unbleached again. Thank you!

Low Gluten/Protein Content = Flat Sourdough!

This is the lowest gluten/protein content bread flour that I have ever found. Literally every other bread flour even the cheapest great value at Walmart has at least 4 g of protein per 30 g serving. This translates to your sourdough loaves, spreading and puddling instead of rising tall as they should with high hydration recipes. This is not a high gluten flour, it in fact, has less gluten than many high-quality all-purpose flours. This is just all purpose flour at a higher price in a pretty bag. It is also disingenuous to market this as a bread flour and not indicate the actual percent protein anywhere on the packaging or the online description. This leads me to believe that it is on the lower end of its possible range perhaps less than 10%. Most bread needs around 12%.

Best quality and value

I don't often leave reviews, this flour is premium, I could not be more pleased with the results. It makes a huge difference in the quality of my sandwich bread and rolls. This has the best value, and I am completely satisfied with this purchase and highly recommend it for anyone who bakes bread.

I use this for my breadmachine

I buy this to make bread in my breadmachine. So much better to have fresh bread at home and so much cheaper than paying $4 something for only 5 pounds! I only wish they carried the whole wheat flour in the same type of package but I can't have everything!

Bring It Back!

I have been buying this flour for years. My store stopping selling it for the last few months I thought it was simply a Covid thing but I asked a store associate about it and he said it was discontinued?!!! This flour is a great price and great flavor. I make all my breads for my family and extended family holiday get togethers

Unavailable product

I have been using Members Mark Bread Flour to make rolls for about 20 years. It is perfect to use in my bread machine. Imagine my disappointment to find that is not available in Sams or on line. I purchased the all-purpose flour and ended up with a glob mess.

Listed protein is not at all accurate.

This review is not of the actual flour, rather the marketing used to sell it. The flour is marketed as 13.7% to 14.3% protein content, when in fact it is 10% protein content. This is based on the actual nutrition label from the product. I'm sure there will be some trolls that write that I don't know how to calculate protein content, however, I actually do. If a serving size is 30 grams and contained within that is 3 grams of protein, the math is simple 3 is 10% of 30. Also, I'm writing this as a guy that bakes about 60 loaves of sourdough bread per month. And high protein content is very important to the development of gluten.
