Wow....not only surprised by how QUIET the unit is but how much I enjoy "Peeking" into the unit to check on how many snack's are still available, after the Kids finish playing with it!!! Lots and lots of room and continue to enjoy the Ice Production features....lots of Kids drinks!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We needed to replace our 25-year old fridge, and the Door-in-Door French Door LG stood out. We looked at it in the showroom, and were very impressed with how solid, and big, this LG was. I widened the cubby space so it would fit, and it did indeed. Did I mention that it is BIG? Our old fridge was always crammed full of left-overs, etc. But this new LG has space. French doors, two drawers. Separate door for milk and soda. The interior lighting is perfect. And I should say that it's big. Two kinds of ice. That was a surprise. And in case I happen to fall asleep at the kitchen table, I will wake up when it drops the ice balls. Sweet. Did I mention that it's big??

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The unit has a large refrigerator section, freezer is a bit smaller than a typical side by side. The lower ball type ice maker is great. The in the door ice maker is poor, it freezes up unless you use the ice every day, otherwise you have to open it up and dump the ice ball that has formed. The door wall doesn’t have insulation in it so the ice bucket melts and ice freezes together…

Initially lots expectations due to the new technology of insta-view and other newer technology things. The overall design for different kinds of food items with drawer divisions and shelves but we are are disappointed with several things on the design and total quality of components: 1.- the lack of good design to accommodate large bottle (wine bottles as example) 2. Too deep to reach the back and change the air filter. 3.- low quality material in the water dispenser trigger; it is plastic (I believe) and got marks(scratches) very easily from normal use. If it was SS like the rest of the exterior body should not have that.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We’ve had our fridge for about six weeks now. So far so good. It has been great. The craft ice still has a taste to it. The manual said it might take some batches. We will keep our fingers crossed. Other then that, no complaints.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Over all I really like the fridge. My craft ice maker quit working after 11 months. LG is replacing it. My only other con would be shelf adjustments could be better.Also with automatic water dispenser would dispense the cup of water without having to keep cup up against paddle.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this unit when we moved in July 1st. Solid unit took some time to get used to the shelving set up. Would be 5 stars but the ice maker in the freezer that makes my craft ice had broken before the year's end.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After several delays, I finally received my new refrigerator. It is everything I hoped it would be. I love the open glass door-so convenient. The deli drawer and large freezer drawer. I have more room to store my foods and it is so quiet. Not to mention it looks great. I have been wanting this model for a long time and now my dream has come true. I would highly recommend this to anyone that is “thinking out purchasing one”.
