Purchased a similar one in our last house from LG that did not have the extra cooling drawer and it was a great refrigerator - never any issues in the three years before we moved. With the extra cooling drawer it is even a better refrigerator. More options on using the drawer and keeps everyone from opening the refrigerator all the way and standing deciding what they want for lunch. The door-in-door option is great also - same reason as previous. Have always had good luck with LG products in the past

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have had this for a couple months. Still have an issue with a bent door hinge but repairs happening in a few days. Didn’t think I’d care about “craft ice” but I use them all the time. Easier than several cubes when cooling my water bottles…

I’ve waiting for this Refrigerator for a long time due to The Pandemic, but finally it’s here and I’m very excited. After living with an old half working refrigerator this one is a big upgrade. Very pleased. It looks great in my kitchen. It’ works great , the craft ice is a nice feature when entering.

My husband and I really love the layout and features of the refrigerator; with the freezer on the bottom and drawer between the freezer and fridge. The craft ice cubes are a great addition. We especially love the light that comes on when you knock on the door so you can see what’s inside without opening the door. You can customize the coolness options for different foods.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the choice of freezer draw or fresh produce. The door within the door helps keep down energy costs too and I’d a great feature. For my husband it’s the craft Icemaker that’s the best part. Very happy with our choice!

I bought this for our brand new home and love everything about it. My grandkids think it's the coolest thing to knock on the door and see it light up like magic. I've used the flex drawer as both fridge and freezer and am impressed at how well it keeps food just as I want it. I've even used the wifi for setting up the flex drawer while out shopping.

We replaced a 20 year old refrigerator increasing the overall size and adding features. Our dreams were realized in the product. It is a great addition to our decor, adds extra freezer space and is more economical to operate. It was fully functional within hours and had ice freezing in no time. The glass door is great and saves opening the full door to keep the cool air inside. An outstanding addition to our household.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very satisfied with fridge. Nice quiet operation, holds temperatures even though out interior. Upper ice maker and water dispenser work well. Ours also has the craft ice maker below. It did quit making ice after the first 3 months,but customer service was helpful and speedy getting us to a local service technician who replaced the craft ice unit and it works fine now.

Even though it did take several days for the craft ice to acclimate, we do enjoy having the extra ice. The ice maker in the door is definitely not adequate for a family over 3. It is adequate for 2 , maybe we use lots of ice. If your family uses many 2 liter bottles, you will be disappointed with the height of the shelves. The shelf spacing is awkward. I would advise you to inspect for your needs. We do enjoy the middle drawer, it does provide for easy access to items used often. The wifi is hard to connect, but doesn’t really accomplish much. The information on display for freezer, refrigerator information does not display the internal temperature, but rather the set temperature. We would buy again

The refrigerator looks great and I really like the option of having the drawer be either a refrigerator or freezer. Unfortunately there is a cooling issue where the InstaView door section is approx. 5-6 degrees warmer than the interior section. If you set the refrigerator temp to standard 37 degrees the door section can get to 42-43 degrees which causes milk to spoil. The only option is to make the interior section really cold at 33 to get the door section to be around 38-39. The local LG technician (Kenneth) stated this is normal due to the LG design of the refrigerator.
