We purchased this item as our previous refrigerator ice maker expired. having the opportunity to have multiple ice makers was an easy choice. With that said, everything on this LG has been better then expected. We love the craft ice, the door in door is a great feature, and the amount of useable space is excellent. We did have a small challenge that the warranty people resolved quickly and with an extra smile. Overall, we are very pleased with this purchase.

I’ve had the refrigerator for a little over two years. I would rate this four out of five stars. Only a couple of minor nagging design issues. For me, I would love it if I could reach in and quickly grab it an item from a crisper drawer without having to open both French doors. Also, the craft icemaker has been replaced twice now. We are covered under warranty which is awesome. It frequently stops working no understanding of what the issue is. Just a new unit installed each time. I mention it because it was definitely one of the deciding factors in choosing this unit over another, and it was a pricey feature.

We replaced a 20 year old refrigerator increasing the overall size and adding features. Our dreams were realized in the product. It is a great addition to our decor, adds extra freezer space and is more economical to operate. It was fully functional within hours and had ice freezing in no time. The glass door is great and saves opening the full door to keep the cool air inside. An outstanding addition to our household.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I previously had a LG French Door refrigerator but unfortunately sold it when moving. Our next home already had a refrigerator so we lived with it. It was bad with the vegetables and fruits spoiling within a week. I was so frustrated. I knew I needed to purchase another LG. Not only do I own a new LG French Door again but this one comes with a Cubed Ice Maker which we love in addition to the regular ice maker. The cubed ice looks like a golf ball and is very fun. But most important is how much room it has and my vegetables stay fresh much longer than I knew they would. Fantastic! Plus I love the Freezer part which is easy to organize and store things. Everything about it is perfect. Thank you LG!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ordered this fridge in the end of November. It was delivered in the beginning of March. I love it! The drawer is so convenient for freezer or chilling drinks. I can lock the water and ice from coming out the door so this way the kids cannot spill the water all over the kitchen floor. The ice in the bottom freezer makes phere type ice which is really cool. It does seem to only make 3 or 6 round cubes at a time and this is very time consuming.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It has been 2 weeks since I received the refrigerator. Love it so far, especially the middle draw. The temperature for this drawer is adjustable. Instead of storing produce, I changed it to a lower temperature to cool drinks for a party. I used to have to put drinks in a portable cooler and buy ice to keep it cold. Well, that no longer is the case. The sliders in this drawer is also adjustable, so I was able to lay a few rows of soda cans, and a row of water bottle. Very versatile.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bouhght this about 2 weeks ago and I have got to say the size of this fridge without the doors doesn't fit through a regular size doorway we had to completely take it apart to get it through our front door. The ice plus really doesn't make much ice and the craft ice will only make 6 in a week but I've put another plastic bin in the freezer to empty the top ice maker when it's full so we can have enough ice for a family of 4. The compartments in the door are very small and limited space and the same with the regular shelves inside there isn't any way to maneuver them to optimize the space it all seems very awkward placement and I also saw that you have to be careful with what you put on the top shelf in the door with window cause it can block the cold air vent which can cause the rest of the items on bottom of the door shelf do not get a sufficient amount of cold air but I learned to move everything on that top shelf closer towards the window so that the air can blow through to get to those bottom shelves as well. All in all everything is so far so good with the fridge. Now the LG Thinq app is another story when you log the food you have in the fridge it will not let you add a shelf life to it which is kind of annoying because that would be great to have that feature so you can get notifications for things that are about to expire. And I do like the recipes on the app those are an added bonus.

Ice should be made every 1.5 hours however (after 3 tests) it is only making ice every 2.6 hours. Ridiculous considering how small the cube are. I have had 4 service calls (2 of which they called towards the end on the appointment window and said they could not make it) and they say it is working fine. NO, they need to check the computer that tells the ice to dump. I have checked and the ice is ready in the 1.5 hour window but it does not dump the ice.
