I’ve had the refrigerator for a little over two years. I would rate this four out of five stars. Only a couple of minor nagging design issues. For me, I would love it if I could reach in and quickly grab it an item from a crisper drawer without having to open both French doors. Also, the craft icemaker has been replaced twice now. We are covered under warranty which is awesome. It frequently stops working no understanding of what the issue is. Just a new unit installed each time. I mention it because it was definitely one of the deciding factors in choosing this unit over another, and it was a pricey feature.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this refrigerator a few weeks ago and for the most part am satisfied. However, several areas for improvement. The see through window is just that, see through all of the time even with the interior light off. Ice from the main ice maker melts much faster than ice from my previous LG refrigerator. Craft ice is nice feature, but not totally clear and melts almost as fast as regular cubes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Biggest plus is the size, 30cuft. It had plenty of space and the customization is fantastic. Only had the fridge for 2 months and no complaints to date. The view window is a great size and looks great in the kitchen.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this refrigerator about a month ago because my old one quit cooling in the refrigerator upper part. Freezer still kept things frozen. After researching and looking at different models, I decided to go with this LG and I'm glad I did. Works like a charm, very quiet, has more room in it than I originally thought. The craft ice feature is really nice. The look through door on the right side is terrific! I can open that part up and get out what I need without letting a lot of the cold air out. And the door cooling feature keeps everything in the doors the same temperature as the rest of the unit. The convertible drawer is a terrific feature as well. I keep meat and cheese in it now, but can turn it into a freezer compartment if I need more freezer space.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love that the ice maker is in the door, gives me a lot more room in my fridge than my old one. The round ice in the freezer is really cool. I love the option the the drawer can be used as a fridge of freezer, currently it has soda in it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our 10 year old LG bit the dust over Snowvid 2021 and so we were on a mission for the Top O' the Line cooling device for the house. We never knew how many choices there were!! So overwhelming!! Tablets in a 'fridge? Who knew? I have enough electronics!! Well as we perused, the gentleman asked, "do you like craft ice"? It was that instant we both said "ummm yeah"! He said "let me show the CADILLAC of the refrigerator world!! Well ok then!! We have loved it every day since.. We love the KNOCK KNOCK we play and who doesn't love craft ice!! I also love the app, LG ThinQ! It lets me change how many craft balls the "Starship Enterprise" (yes she has a name) produces for the day and sets Ice Plus if we need more ice! I can keep an eye on the temp as well!! So awesome!! We couldn't be more pleased with our new addition!!!

There is not as much space for standing-up bottles between the shelves and the doors. We've made it work, but we depend more on the shelves (with the bottles lying down) than taking out a shelf to set them vertically. The big concern is the ice makers. The craft ice maker is amazing when it works, but we've had to have it replaced twice in the year of owning it. The door version works well but has little capacity compared to the production rate. If you're in the fridge a lot and the temperature does not get low enough around the maker, it won't make ice.

The refrigerator looks great and I really like the option of having the drawer be either a refrigerator or freezer. Unfortunately there is a cooling issue where the InstaView door section is approx. 5-6 degrees warmer than the interior section. If you set the refrigerator temp to standard 37 degrees the door section can get to 42-43 degrees which causes milk to spoil. The only option is to make the interior section really cold at 33 to get the door section to be around 38-39. The local LG technician (Kenneth) stated this is normal due to the LG design of the refrigerator.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is so much bigger and deeper in size in both the refrigerator and so much more adaptable to things we could use that dual freezer/fridge middle drawer for. The ice and water in the door is great except the catchment basin could be bigger for spills. The craft ice is wonderful although it needs to be replaced as it stopped working after a few months. apparently we are not the only one with this issue.. The see-through door is convenient for daily things that get used a lot without opening the full fridge up. Overall I am extremely impressed and fingerprints and dirt are easily removed from the doors without leaving marks.
