[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this refrigerator last month as my previous GE (three-door) died. That one lived only five years, matching every single GE branded fridge I had before. Therefore, it was time for moving to something new. After reading many reviews, I was a thorn of buying this LG. I loved the design and the new features. The water dispenser, separate from the water, the craft ice, the easy access glass door, and the digital integration with wifi. I worried about the bad reviews. However, none of the problems reported were accurate. The only problem was with me. I should have triple-checked the dimensions. The crew who installed it had trouble moving it through my utility room door. They did an excellent job. In hindsight, I should have bought the counter depth. To clarify, I also have a brand new sub-zero 42-inch fridge in my kitchen, so this is our backup fridge where our LG washer/drier is. The quality is much lower than subzero {as expected}, but for the price, it looks and works great. I will have to see how long it will go.

My wife wanted a bigger Refrigerator and I picked this one for her. She was looking at the Samsung and then she reseached and decided to get this one. She is very very happy and it has all the space that she needs and she is very happy with all of updated highlights.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this refrigerator about a month ago. I was super excited and spent way more than I ever thought I would on an appliance. HOWEVER, within hours of install it was making horrible noise. After a long and frustrating process, I finally got a repair man to look at it and come to find out the FACTORY forgot to install a dampener on the condenser. Upon fixing, the sound went away and I absolutely love it! It has great space and is huge!! I will warn you, make sure to our your craft ice on a time schedule that doesn’t result in dropping a cube during the night. It will wake you up sounding like someone breaking in. Overall, I would so this to anyone looking for an upgrade. It’s just a shame that the factory not installing a critical piece of equipment kept this from a 5 star review.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this refrigerator a few weeks ago and for the most part am satisfied. However, several areas for improvement. The see through window is just that, see through all of the time even with the interior light off. Ice from the main ice maker melts much faster than ice from my previous LG refrigerator. Craft ice is nice feature, but not totally clear and melts almost as fast as regular cubes.

This is a very nice refrigerator. Plenty of room and middle drawer is very convenient. However the craft icemaker(round balls) is very very slow. It makes three to six balls every 24 to 36 hours. This was checked by service tech and he said this is normal production. This is disappointing as the craft ice was one of the reasons for selecting this model.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We ordered this fridge and I was a bit skepticle with some of the features like the craft ice and the instaview door. Well, those are now my favorite features of the fridge. The instaview door is great to grab frequently used things without opening the entire fridge, great energy saving idea. I ablsolutely love the craft ice. I use it every day in my drinks, melts slower so it keeps your drinks nice and cold without diluting. The flexible middle drawer that can be used as a fridge or freezer space is genius. I actually love the design of the freezer. I was worried about it being too deep and losing stuff at the bottom but, there is a hidden drawer inside that prevents that. Our last fridge was a side by side and the french doors are a huge improvement! we had a party and I could easily fit large platters and also a sheet cake inside. Great fridge, would highly recommend :o)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this for my new house. Got lots of compliments from friends and family. Really like the door in door, vista view and craft ice features. Everything's great except the left door bangs too hard when closing. Have to close the door very gently otherwise it'd be like slamming on it. Something LG needs to work on to improve.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had this fridge for about 6 month now and I would not recommend it it. It’s a very noisy fridge and you have to place very close attention what you put in it. Cans and glass food storage as well as glass bottle will rattle every time the fridge runs. The space and craft ice was the main reason we bought it. The space and shelf organization is very nice which is why I did give it 2 starts. The freezer space is also very nice especially with the extra conversion drawer. The fridge also looks good with the instaview window. It breaks it apart from just having a huge hunck of stainless steal. The craft ice is my biggest issue. In the picture you can see the white part on top of the ice ball and it has some kind of chemical taste to it. Almost a salty taste. Customer service is useless because they refuse to send somebody out and just have you replace line and clean the fridge. The 6 month old fridge with brand new lines in a brand new house I might add. The water and top freezer have no taste to it, is is just the bottom craft ice and only the top white part almost as if the ice tray is the issue.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so impressed with the space saving middle drawer and freezer tray. Food items often get lost in the bottom of the freezer; out-of-sight. The added freezer tray keeps frequently used foods a finger-tip access while the remaining freezer space can be used for other storage. The refrigerator is similarly designed to provide easy access to frequently used items. Thank you LG for providing such a well designed refrigerator. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The French door design, in door storage and fully convertible drawer- makes me wonder if I overbought in size! I have a lot of room! The convertible drawer is excellent for all of my husband's lunch items and frees up room for other stuff. The double drawer in the freezer section is great for organizing. Just working on the ice production- the bin is not very large.
