[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this refrigerator a year ago thinking that an appliance that cost five grand would last a lot longer than a year before needing major repairs. Craft ice maker is broken, so noisy it sounds like a loud pounding when it operates, freezer compressor is going out, and a delay in getting replacement parts.

I researched for over a year. While remodeling the entire kitchen I decided to accommodate a 36” wide refrigerator, I came across this LG. It is granted very large, at almost 30 cf, but it’s the flexibility and features that sold me. Having through-the-door ice and water keeps the cold inside! Same goes for the door-in-a-door for items that we access every morning. Then you have the full convert section that can even be a freezer! With a basement 11 cf freezer I love not having to have so much dedicated freezer space upstairs. And then as if that’s not enough you have beautiful craft ice spheres in the lower freezer for special occasions. As long as it performs for a long time count me satisfied. The features and quality certainly justify the price in my world!

I bought it about 2 weeks ago. It had a bad kraft ice maker. LG replaced it and now everything works well. It also came with a dent in the instant view door. I called the dent guy and he was able to repair it; however not enough care is taken in shipping

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Still learning lots about it. Pros: I like all the compartments and drawers more than I thought I would. Cons: craft ice.not completely circular. In-Door compartments not as big as I would like. Not enough light inside.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far so good. No issues with the appliance. Both ice makers work as expected. Fridge/ freezer cools perfectly. I had to buy additional lock rings since my floor is out of whack above a normal range. I do wish the right side door panel had an adjustment.

Unfortunately the craft ice maker stopped working just a few months after purchasing. It took several weeks to get the new one and have it installed. Thankfully it was still under warranty. Makes me concerned that such a pricey fridge would have problems so soon.

Bought this about 6 weeks ago and have it for 3 weeks. Beautiful to look at but also working perfectly. Love the small cubes as well as the craft ice. Lots of room inside for all our goods. Tap view adds a nice feature and makes it easy to see what's inside the refrigerator.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bouhght this about 2 weeks ago and I have got to say the size of this fridge without the doors doesn't fit through a regular size doorway we had to completely take it apart to get it through our front door. The ice plus really doesn't make much ice and the craft ice will only make 6 in a week but I've put another plastic bin in the freezer to empty the top ice maker when it's full so we can have enough ice for a family of 4. The compartments in the door are very small and limited space and the same with the regular shelves inside there isn't any way to maneuver them to optimize the space it all seems very awkward placement and I also saw that you have to be careful with what you put on the top shelf in the door with window cause it can block the cold air vent which can cause the rest of the items on bottom of the door shelf do not get a sufficient amount of cold air but I learned to move everything on that top shelf closer towards the window so that the air can blow through to get to those bottom shelves as well. All in all everything is so far so good with the fridge. Now the LG Thinq app is another story when you log the food you have in the fridge it will not let you add a shelf life to it which is kind of annoying because that would be great to have that feature so you can get notifications for things that are about to expire. And I do like the recipes on the app those are an added bonus.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had LG kitchen appliances for years and just are so happy that we went ahead and got the refrigerator with the extra bells and whistles. I LOVE the flex drawer!!! It's great for frozen pizzas if I know the kids are having extra people over or for me to chill some wine when I have my friends over!! My husband loves the craft ice! He is like a little kid all over again when he comes home from work. Also the access to the water filter is so convenient. I love that it is in the door now and not at the top of the inside. I had the hardest time reaching it when it was up high. Now I have no issues changing the water filter. Also the fact that the water is measured out is so so convenient. Makes my cooking and baking go all the faster!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have had this fridge for a couple of years now. Love the instaview window to look inside. We use the door water and ice dispenser constantly. The copious amounts of space in both the fridge and freezer are impressive! The only downside is the Craft Ice Maker we love but had to replace. Overall, we have enjoyed our fridge, and would buy LG again!
