Beautiful appliance

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far so good. No issues with the appliance. Both ice makers work as expected. Fridge/ freezer cools perfectly. I had to buy additional lock rings since my floor is out of whack above a normal range. I do wish the right side door panel had an adjustment.

Outstanding Features!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I did a kitchen remodel and this refrigerator is a centerpiece of our new kitchen. Beautiful and very functional, this refrigerator has much more storage, easily accessible and the ice maker makes 3 different types of ice, crushed, cubes & craft.

Spacious

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought our LG frig in September and LOVE IT! I shopped around for quite a bit before I decided on this particular one. It has so much room, I feel like I have to much room now. The round ice ball feature is one of the exciting things about, call me strange but love that feature and it still has the regular ice features as well. The freezer still has enough space even with the deli/snack drawer.

Good fridge for a big, busy family

This has been a good refrigerator for our family of five, who has different diets and busy schedules. The freezer is a drawer. I've had bottom freezers with a door before and I prefer those. With the drawer, it is hard to store foods so that they are easy to get to. The bottom drawer is deep and items at the bottom tend to get lost. The top pull out drawer isn't nearly as deep, so I can store items in a single layer. I need to keep everything away from the craft ice maker tray though, because if it gets jostled, ice balls won't be made. The craft ice maker makes 3 balls at a time and will drop them into the tray when frozen. We are on our third craft ice maker because the first two broke. They were covered under warranty and the lasted one has some improvements and will hopefully last better. The freezer keeps the temperature cold and everything stays frozen well. The middle drawer can be used as another freezer or as a cold fridge door. I love having this option. It was a big selling point in choosing this model. I mostly use it as a deli drawer, keeping meats and cheeses at cold refrigerator temperatures. The drawer pulls open smoothly and has two dividers that can be adjusted for three separate spaces. The fridge has a large capacity. I can fit gallon and two liter jugs in the door on the right. It has a window to see what's inside that area. Knocking on the window will turn on an interior light for a few seconds to get a better look. The other door has racks for smaller items, such as condiments. That door also has the water and ice dispenser. A button on the outside is easily touched to choose cubed or crushed ice, or water. Instructions say not to continually use crushed ice, as it can get stuck and block the opening. We use cubed ice with water most of the time, and crushed ice for smoothies or if we need ice in a bag to nurse an injury. Water comes out of the dispenser slightly cool, close to room temperature. Water and air filters need to be changed every six months and a notice will light up on the door when it is time to do so. Ice cube production can also be increased by selecting the max ice option on the door. It will make more ice cubes for up to 24 hours than the unit normally makes. The rest of the fridge's interior stays cold and keeps food fresh. The two produce drawers are deep and hold a lot. Unfortunately, my kitchen is set up to have the fridge right next to the wall. I can only open one door to a 90 degree angle, which is not far enough to open that side's produce drawer all the way. It makes it a littler harder to get to things and to clean the drawer. The four shelves in the fridge can be adjusted as you like by moving them to different heights. One of these shelves can be collapsed to half its depth. This is good for taller bottles to stand upright inside the fridge. It's where I will store an open bottle of wine when I have that didn't get consumed. The back part of the shelf can still be used for other items. The fridge makes a chime if a door has been open too long, five minutes I believe, so that you know if it wasn't properly closed. For the most part, the refrigerator is easy to clean on the inside and the outside. The hard water we have tends to build up on the water dispenser and requires a bit of scrubbing. Overall, I am pleased with this LG fridge and its features. I would certainly buy it again if I needed another.

Great features

I just recently purchased this refrigerator and it is really great to have the middle drawer to switch between freezer and refrigerator for entertaining. The front clear door is nice to open up and quickly grab a drink and knocking on the door to turn on the light without even opening it up.

Mixed Feelings

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have mixed feelings about this fridge. I love the the apace and the mid size drawers that you can turn into a freezer if needed, that certainly comes in handy. I also like, love the craft ice and the door ice maker makes a lot of ice. Many great features you’ll love. The glass door was another feature that I thought I would not use much but it’s very convenient to use that door for your most used items however I can honestly say that I’ve not used the knock feature to light up the interior. I already know what’s inside so I think that feature is just great for marketing. The reason I gave this fridge a 2 star is because 6 months into it, the motor started making a loans humming noise. So loud I can hear it accesos the house. I had read several reviews that stated that but I through well maybe that’s just a defective unit but now it’s happening to me. This fridge has a an issue that LG has not corrected. I’m waiting on the tech to come fix it so we’ll see long tern what happens.

Over the phone tech solved my issue in 10 minutes!

My freezer door did not seal properly unless i pushed it closed hard. I thought it was out of alignment. However over the phone..the tech figured out that it had iced up (probably due to me not closing it tightly one time). So he had me defrost the ice on rail. It completely solved the issue in 10 minites!!!

Just recently bought this! So far so good

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Features: + Two key features: 1) The instadoor access and 2) Full-convert drawer are very convenient. + Fruits stay fresh for long. +/- Like the predefined water filling feature. However, the preset does not hold the memory. So, if you press 8oz and fill. Once it fills, you need to press 8oz again or else, if you presume it will only dispense 8oz, that will be a problem. Also, the water filter even after flushing out water for a long time tastes funny. - The ice balls are not exactly spherical. They are 3/4th and then flat/as if a sphere is cut off. - the factory fit refrigerator came with a screw missing. That is a quality miss, and not appropriate. (It is one of the two/three structural screws that holds freezer door panel to the frame.) We are yet to find out more as we use (and hence may update the review)
