Nice features poor performance

I love the features of this fridge but I have not been satisfied. I have gotten two lemons. One replacement and one I have had numerous service appointments. It seems to be working but temperatures are cooler in the home now as well. It is finally holding a steady enough temperature to make some Ice but the ice is slow. Takes 24 hours to make 3 craft ice and the water is not cold in the door. For the price I paid I am disappointed.

Large Fridge but had issues

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This fridge is large and defiantly handles the size of our family. Have a few issues with it: 1. The water connect leaked the first day and had to fix. 2. The outside door doesn’t always open. The latch gets stuck and you have to forcefully pushed it back together in order for it to open again. 3. The large screen on the outside doesn’t do anything. It’s just there so you can tap the screen to see what’s inside that one small out side door. It does have the feature to make ice cube balls which is nice.

We bought this refrigerator as part of a kitchen suite. We really like the easy view door panel and storage for drinks and the separate drawer for storage of frequently accessed items. The only issue we’ve had is difficulty getting the craft ice to work properly, but was resolved with a call to customer service.

Craft ice maker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] LG- was great in sending me a replacement craft ice maker for me to install. For the most part it was easy to install and directions were simple. One thing that wasn’t explained was a reset button on the bottom front to push. After I did this and for some reason a process of of waiting 48 hours we have 3 round cubes per day. I still haven’t figured how to get it to the produce more ice cubes each day. There is an option for 6 ice cubes but I’m yet to figure out how this is done. So my experience is not complete, The support from LG was good - I did get a few text messages to see if I needed help but haven’t heard back yet to confirm that all is 100% good on my side.

I bought it about 2 weeks ago. It had a bad kraft ice maker. LG replaced it and now everything works well. It also came with a dent in the instant view door. I called the dent guy and he was able to repair it; however not enough care is taken in shipping

French door with craft ice maker refrigerator.

I bought this refrigerator about 1 and half years ago and so excited with it's look. Everything worked very well until the craft ice maker broken down four months later. Called LG tech and got it replaced on last December 2021. The new craft ice maker working very well until a year later 12/2022 it broke down again. Called LG again for service and been waiting for tech to come sometime next week. It's still under warranty so no charge on these two replacements. Good service LG! But calling for service is a thing to consider because it takes to much time and a phone call sounds awful as it is from overseas. LG needs to redesign this craft ice maker somehow, I guess. And I cross my fingers for the second replacement. Other than that everything else has been working as it means to be, so far. Hope this helps someone wants the refrigerator with craft ice maker rethinks.

FF E error

Fridge is great except it does not really have room for all your condiments;Be prepared to remove a shelf. Also have had an error “FF E” for a while. Support says to manually defrost for 7 hours. Thankfully I have a 2nd fridge for this. How over the error keeps returning. Support keeps “disconnecting “ but I will keep trying to get repairs. Fridge is not old at all. Outside all the issues, it’s nice.

Not so good

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Made in 2021 and it’s now 2023 and the App diagnostics says it’s working fine but it doesn’t get cold at all. It worked for a while and then just broke. I’m not the original owner but for a fridge that is just 2 years old shows poor craftsmanship or something I’m not sure and I don’t think there is anything I can do about it. Horrible
