[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] LG's 30 cu.ft. see-through door and middle drawer with large round ice cubes is a beautifully designed refrigerator. Lighting so that you see absolutely everything inside. Drawers that slide smoothly with a lot of room. The extra door opens to shelving where you store taller items, i.e., milk, juice. The quick retrieval of these items without opening the entire refrigerator saves energy and cooling. The middle drawer is so great to store cheese and deli items and items that children can help themselves without holding the door open letting cool air escape. The freezer drawer is so large that you can actually find your items. The design, the beauty is awesome. Thank you LG

Having owned a predecessor, same size, same style, it’s hard to keep my faith that we will come out ahead, but we are hoping. The last one crapped out in three years, and after being repaired, gave us another two years. Here’s hoping. The design is nice, not sure what the purpose of the transparent door is. Overall, its why we bought the first one, size and doors capable of opening without needing to expose the entire inside to the elements. Everything else is also the same as the other LG fridge we had, except for the second ice maker which makes ice balls nearly half the size of a baseball. We are just hoping to have a better time with this unit.

This has been a good refrigerator for our family of five, who has different diets and busy schedules. The freezer is a drawer. I've had bottom freezers with a door before and I prefer those. With the drawer, it is hard to store foods so that they are easy to get to. The bottom drawer is deep and items at the bottom tend to get lost. The top pull out drawer isn't nearly as deep, so I can store items in a single layer. I need to keep everything away from the craft ice maker tray though, because if it gets jostled, ice balls won't be made. The craft ice maker makes 3 balls at a time and will drop them into the tray when frozen. We are on our third craft ice maker because the first two broke. They were covered under warranty and the lasted one has some improvements and will hopefully last better. The freezer keeps the temperature cold and everything stays frozen well. The middle drawer can be used as another freezer or as a cold fridge door. I love having this option. It was a big selling point in choosing this model. I mostly use it as a deli drawer, keeping meats and cheeses at cold refrigerator temperatures. The drawer pulls open smoothly and has two dividers that can be adjusted for three separate spaces. The fridge has a large capacity. I can fit gallon and two liter jugs in the door on the right. It has a window to see what's inside that area. Knocking on the window will turn on an interior light for a few seconds to get a better look. The other door has racks for smaller items, such as condiments. That door also has the water and ice dispenser. A button on the outside is easily touched to choose cubed or crushed ice, or water. Instructions say not to continually use crushed ice, as it can get stuck and block the opening. We use cubed ice with water most of the time, and crushed ice for smoothies or if we need ice in a bag to nurse an injury. Water comes out of the dispenser slightly cool, close to room temperature. Water and air filters need to be changed every six months and a notice will light up on the door when it is time to do so. Ice cube production can also be increased by selecting the max ice option on the door. It will make more ice cubes for up to 24 hours than the unit normally makes. The rest of the fridge's interior stays cold and keeps food fresh. The two produce drawers are deep and hold a lot. Unfortunately, my kitchen is set up to have the fridge right next to the wall. I can only open one door to a 90 degree angle, which is not far enough to open that side's produce drawer all the way. It makes it a littler harder to get to things and to clean the drawer. The four shelves in the fridge can be adjusted as you like by moving them to different heights. One of these shelves can be collapsed to half its depth. This is good for taller bottles to stand upright inside the fridge. It's where I will store an open bottle of wine when I have that didn't get consumed. The back part of the shelf can still be used for other items. The fridge makes a chime if a door has been open too long, five minutes I believe, so that you know if it wasn't properly closed. For the most part, the refrigerator is easy to clean on the inside and the outside. The hard water we have tends to build up on the water dispenser and requires a bit of scrubbing. Overall, I am pleased with this LG fridge and its features. I would certainly buy it again if I needed another.

Let me tell you, this was the best decision to made. I absolutely love the fact that there is so much storage space. The knock knock feature on the right door creates a huge buzz when we have company over. The middle drawer we have designated for our two year old. She gets a kick out of knowing she has her own section of the refrigerator specifically for her. Plus, it makes it easier for us and her so that she may grab whatever she wants out of the fridge. The motor makes very little noise. We have not used the ice maker/water dispenser as of yet, but we are making adjustments in the kitchen to be able to do so. Otherwise I am absolutely satisfied in my purchase!!!

The shelves inside the upper portion are perfect. The two different ice features is an added bonus. Love the craft ice in the freezer compartment. The design and configuration of the model is worth the price. The front dispenser has features I use daily especially the different water measurements for cooking. No need for a measuring cup.

The craft ice is great and the ability to change the center drawer temperature settings is very versatile. The frighted looks great too! The ice/water dispenser accepts large items as well. The ice maker in the door holds a large amount of ice, which comes in handy for large gatherings. Highly recommend this refrigerator.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The French door design, in door storage and fully convertible drawer- makes me wonder if I overbought in size! I have a lot of room! The convertible drawer is excellent for all of my husband's lunch items and frees up room for other stuff. The double drawer in the freezer section is great for organizing. Just working on the ice production- the bin is not very large.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had my new fridge for 2 months and I love it! I wasn’t expecting to like the separate door on the front, but now it is a winner in my eyes. I like having the option of regular ice up on top and round craft ice down below. I use the craft ice with company, drinks, and for my water container for school. LG’s design for ice up on top is far superior than Samsung’s!

My son just loves the craft ice balls. I love the flex drawer and mini door for my kiddo to grab drinks easily. Everything about this fridge is amazing. I can't wait to eventually get all the other appliances to match this black stainless color.
