When the refrigerator is working it is great, but the craft ice stopped working for a week then worked so okay we just didn’t have ice for a bit. Then all of a sudden no regular or craft ice. Not even a full year into having a refrigerator. The nice thing is that the app did tell me it wasn’t working and kickstarted the fix process.

Having owned a predecessor, same size, same style, it’s hard to keep my faith that we will come out ahead, but we are hoping. The last one crapped out in three years, and after being repaired, gave us another two years. Here’s hoping. The design is nice, not sure what the purpose of the transparent door is. Overall, its why we bought the first one, size and doors capable of opening without needing to expose the entire inside to the elements. Everything else is also the same as the other LG fridge we had, except for the second ice maker which makes ice balls nearly half the size of a baseball. We are just hoping to have a better time with this unit.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this refrigerator about a month ago because my old one quit cooling in the refrigerator upper part. Freezer still kept things frozen. After researching and looking at different models, I decided to go with this LG and I'm glad I did. Works like a charm, very quiet, has more room in it than I originally thought. The craft ice feature is really nice. The look through door on the right side is terrific! I can open that part up and get out what I need without letting a lot of the cold air out. And the door cooling feature keeps everything in the doors the same temperature as the rest of the unit. The convertible drawer is a terrific feature as well. I keep meat and cheese in it now, but can turn it into a freezer compartment if I need more freezer space.

Ours has “broken” twice and when it is repaired, we are told there is no fix and they will just keep replacing it. It’s a total pain, to be honest but the fridge is pretty amazing. Lots of space, which the wife wanted because she loves to host events. Fix the craft ice and this thing is 110% greatness!

The first 3 months was nice and everything was humming. Unfortunately things took a turn with the icemakeres not working - escalating to now the freezer section is 25F or HIGHER !!!! It should be 0. The technician has replaced almost everything. AVOID THIS BRAND (and all other Korean ones)

It was bad with the vegetables and fruits spoiling within a week. I was so frustrated. I knew I needed to purchase another LG. Not only do I own a new LG French Door again but this one comes with a Cubed Ice Maker which we love in addition to the regular ice maker. The cubed ice looks like a golf ball and is very fun. But most important is how much room it has and my vegetables stay fresh much longer than I knew they would. Fantastic! Plus I love the Freezer part which is easy to organize and store things. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the large size, the Instaview Door-in-door, the middle drawer with adjustable temp, the well designed freezer drawers, the craft ice balls, and the exterior water / ice cube / crushed ice dispenser. The only issue for us was that the air filter cover was very hard to remove and figuring out about that online was more complicated than it should have been. The customer phone support was very good though and it worked out.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This fridge is amazing. Big enough to store entire super large pizza boxes and you barely even lose room. Dual ice makers, one for regular cubes and one for craft ice perfect for drinks or thermal cups. Filters are both easy to replace every 6 months. Couldn’t have asked for a better fridge. Little pricey but we got a good deal around the Fourth of July a few years back. Not a single issue with anything after theee years. Would definitely recommend! I love LG products we use their turbo washer and dryer as well. Still never a single problem.

Especially the craft ice maker for when I serve myself those old fashions cocktails. The space in the fridge is great as well. I love the middle drawer compartment because you can choose to use it as refrigerator space or if you need more freezer space you can adjust the temp with a simple click of a button. We use the quick access door a lot too. This is where we keep our condiments, cream cheese, milk, juice etc. It stays nicely cooled as well. We have not had any issues. I still have to figure out how to connect it to the wifi but so far we love it!

I bought my refrigerator a couple of months ago and I like the features. The craft ice is great, although I wish it had a higher production rate as the craft ice is preferred over the door ice. The refrigerator has a very large capacity and the see through door is useful. Overall, I would recommend it.
