Overall good just don’t like the loud noise

I bought this Aug 2021. Everything so far works good except, I have noticed this month that there is a loud noise that comes on. Right now it’s 12:35 AM. I’m in my room and I hear a loud noise which is from the machine it’s self. There is nothing sitting in it or anything around it. It is away from the wall and nothing else to cause this noise. It is so disturbing at this point. I have tried to move the machine on other days when this noise turns on and nothing. If I’m watching TV I have to turn up the volume to avoid the sound. It is now 12:44 Am and the noise has finally stopped.

Hi Nessa,Thank you for your provided feedback. We are very sorry to hear that you are experiencing noise issues with your Primo water dispenser. We'd love to help you with this. Usually, when this occurs, it is because of the way the hose lays on the bottle. Dispense water, so it begins to pump, and then stop dispensing and open the door. You can usually see the hose vibrating against the bottle. Just reposition the probe, and that typically fixes it.  If it does not fix it, we will need to look at other options. You can either respond via email to social@primowater.com or you will need to call customer service. Troubleshooting effectiveness is at its highest when it is over the phone, and the customer is at the machine. Since we are unable to call out, please call us at (844) 237-7466 Monday-Friday between the hours of 8am and 9pm EST to do further troubleshooting so that we may get your product back into working order. Please have the serial number and model number handy when you call. After about 2 years...

This does what it's supposed to do but there's a significant problem with it that you MUST consider. It's bizarre. At first, few months go by and I thought "geez the people leaving reviews saying it's loud must be nuts, this thing isn't loud"... but as I sit here and this thing is probably over 2 years at this point, IT IS SOOOO FREAKIN LOUD. It started to be loud a few months after we got it and now at this point it's excrutiating. No, it's nothing sitting on top of the dispenser rattling. There's nothing on top. It's all the machine vibrating its own parts or something. It's flabbergasting. It's this continuously loud noise, and it lasts for while then resumes a few hours later. It's insanity. I tried to add a video but the review wouldn't push through for some reason. At this point, I'm about to get a different water dispenser. I didn't give it 1 stars because I mean, it works fine, water-wise, for its purpose. But truly, the amount of constant sound this thing makes is unreasonable.... I typed this whole review and it's STILL doing the noise since I stopped videoing.... Ridiculous.

Primo Water Cooler Dispenser

We have had this for almost 5 years and still works perfectly. We go through about 15 Gallons a week. We use both the Hot and Cold and have had no issues. The bottom loader is great, just slides in. Plus, when the water is low, a red light will come on reminding you to change the water bottle. I highly recommend.

Check for mold after extended use

Had my unit for a couple years, and was very satisfied with how it worked. Recently went opening it to clean it I've noticed that it began developing black mold in areas that are very difficult to reach or clean. I did find black mold in the water cooling container. Be very cautious and even with regular cleaning it's difficult to get every spot clean. Just a warning.

Lasted 18 months

Lasted 18 months with low usage of 3-4 bottles per month. The hot and cold option was fine. The room temperature water was a waste of time as there is no dispenser to facilitate usage as there is with the hot and cold option. One has to wait for a small pump to extract and discharge the water from the actual bottle. Expected the unit to last longer than it did. Will not purchase another for replacement.

Not Happy

Stopped working after 5 months, I've called customer care and even sent my information to the manufacturer's website. So I have been in contact with two personnel in reference to my system not working. I am very disappointed in this product and wished I could get my money back. The manual primo hand pump works better, no flaws there.

Damaged both times

We ordered one of these water dispensers for pick up at Sam’s. When we brought it home and took it out of the box, it was damaged. We went back to Sam’s, stood in the customer service line for over 30 minutes to exchange it for a different one. When we brought the second dispenser home and opened the box, it was damaged! We had to go back to Sam’s a third time to return the second damaged dispenser. Very frustrating experience.
