Sound volume is low

Like it EXCEPT it keeps losing us cellular connection. I must unplug tv for a few minutes and then it will connect again? Getting annoying. as happens every couple days now. It seems to be just a TV problem.

Beautiful Picture/Easy Set Up

I love my new Samsung TV. I've had it for 6 months now and it works beautifully. it was so easy to install and operate. I'm old and not techy, so that was a very good thing. The picture quality is great.

Great value for quality

This is the tv that we use in our bedroom. It’s a perfect size and the picture is very pleasing to the eye. The colors show a nice contrast. Haven’t had any issues and we’re very pleased overall.

Pinched Pennies with no Optical Audio Output

Samsung really messed up by not having an optical audio output on this tv. We have purchased and currently own numerous Samsung tvs and I believe they ALL have the optical audio output option built in until we purchased this one. We originally didn’t plan to install an external sound system but now we find that it won’t be a clean straight forward option on this tv. Shame on Samsung for doing this. We are considering swapping this tv with one of our other Samsung TV’s that we have in other locations since they all have the needed optical audio output. This isn’t ideal for us because the tvs are not the same size that we will be swapping. Sorry Samsung but you just lost a loyal customer.This was the wrong place to pinch pennies!

Tv shows are dark

The view is very dark on certain movies and tv shows. I have done all of the recommended fixes to no avail. Will not purchase this brand again.

Hi Frustrated, I’m sorry to hear you’re not fully satisfied with the DU7200 TV’s picture quality. You mentioned already trying adjusting some settings, however I am going to put a few suggestions below, in case you have not tried these specific ones. First, let’s ensure you are running the latest Firmware Update. Go to Settings> Support> Software Update. Next, If the colors on your TV are correct but just a little too dark or bright, you can try adjusting Picture Modes, Contrast, Brightness, or Sharpness settings. For darker scenes, I recommend Dynamic Picture Mode, which makes pictures brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments. Go to Settings > All Settings> Picture > Picture Mode > Dynamic. Or you can manually adjust the Brightness by pressing the HOME button on your remote, then navigating to Settings > All Settings> Picture > Expert Settings. You may also want to disable Power Saving Mode, which automatically adjusts the brightness to reduce the TV’s power consumption. Go to Settings > All Settings> General > Eco Solution> Power Saving Mode. I hope this helps to improve your picture.
