Nice picture but...
This TV has a great picture, but we seem to be having a recurring problem with at least one streaming provider - Peacock - in which the TV seems to be hung while attempting to search Peacock for a show title. Only way to clear the hang is to physically unplug the TV from the wall; merely turning it off with the remote doesn't do the job. We are researching how to properly manage firmware updates for this beast.
This TV is Amazing!!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I thought all tvs were created equal and honestly didn't put much thought into getting a new tv. I knew I wanted a samsung just didn't know which one, but this tv is amazing! From the features, to the rich color , and the amazing sound. I now know I made the right choice and will never get any other tv brand. The amount of apps almost seem endless, and how the tv fully integrates with my samsung s23 ultra; I no longer have to worry about looking for the remote. Thank you for an amazing tv samsung, you have solidified me into being a customer for life!

It’s not recognizing my initial set up. Says I don’t have an account. I’m just having to use my fire stick and Amazon prime. Can’t get help when I call. I had to create whole new account and it wants to charge me again for what I’m already paying. Crazy

Don't switch from Roku
I have been a Roku girlie for 10 years but then got gifted a larger Samsung tv. Samsung's interface is not as user friendly as Roku and definitely not as pretty. The home screen also aggressively pushes Samsung TV and their options - I don't care, I just want my apps. The remote is also limited given the app version of the remote has a worse UX and UI than the actual TV. The TV shows microphone capabilities but the remote does not have that function. I am giving this 3 out of 5 stars because at least the picture is decent and sound is fine. But otherwise, this TV is unnecessarily complicated.
Hi Nancy, Thank you for sharing your thoughts on the interface and remote - we'll be sure to pass your feedback along to our internal teams. Very smart big tv
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This 75” tv is very smart and I can easily stream anything I want since I have cut my dependence on cable. Now I see what I want for much less money. The screen is crystal clear and fills my living room with a theatre like experience. I am a big fan of Samsung tvs and have never experienced any problems.
55" Class Crystal UHD DU7200D
This is my 4th Samsung TV. I am obviously a fan of their product. I purchased this TV for my large bedroom. It's not so big that it over takes the room. It is just the right size so that it is easy to read subtitles, etc. The quality of the picture, of course, is par excellence--it's a Samsung. I can't imagine ever buying any other brand. The picture is crisp and the colors vivid.
Ten outta ten this tv does it all
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The only complaint I have is, that it doesn't have a power button on the TV itself. Other than that, the picture is crisp and sharp with vivid colors. The sound is incredible, it somehow manages to sound like your in a theater. Hands down the best TV I've owned. Highly recommend.
Great looking TV with drawbacks
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I realize that obtaining people’s personal information is a major plus for your organization, but for the customer, it is completely unnecessary and should never be a part of the purchase of a television. You cannot get full functionality without submitting this information and that’s disgusting. The opening screen with all the little windows is not useful and quite annoying. Just let the TV start with the most recent input and let the user make the change when they are ready. Trying to hook up a soundbar is not easy. There is basically nothing in the paperwork about it. Of course, there’s plenty of information about connecting a Samsung soundbar. Eliminating the digital optical input is absolutely ridiculous, and I almost repacked the TV and brought it back when I saw that. Changing the threads for the TV mount from models sold a few years ago was also a problem. As usual, you did this to encourage people to buy a Samsung TV mount. I have purchased 4 Samsung TVs over the last decade, but this most recent will be the last. The TVs have a beautiful picture, but you have gone too far with invading our privacy, and forcing additional products on us. Thank you the opportunity to submit feedback.
Hi Joseph, Thank you for taking the time to provide us with detailed feedback regarding the setup and connection of external devices on the DU7200 TV. Please know your opinion will be shared with our internal teams. We understand sometimes there is a learning curve when you get a new TV! This is why we created step-by-step guides, to make it easier for you. To learn about your TV go to https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00062199/. Please know, you can choose what your TV does when you turn it on by going to Settings > All Settings> General > Smart Features. When you set Autorun Smart Hub to be on, the TV displays the Home Screen automatically when you turn the TV on. If Autorun Last App is set to on, the last used app automatically runs when you turn on the TV. You can turn this function on or off. Regarding mounting your TV, please know your TV should work with most universal mounts. You may need to purchase new screws, which can be found at your local hardware store. For your DU7200, you will need 4 x M8 screws, 20-22mm length, and 1.25mm pitch. I hope these tips help. If you need more assistance, Samsung is here for you! Rating: 2/5 – Stay Away
I had high expectations when purchasing the Samsung 85” TV, but after months of use, I can confidently say this model has been a huge disappointment. Application Hub & Performance Issues The biggest frustration comes from the sluggish and unresponsive application hub. Navigating between apps feels unnecessarily slow, and the transition from the app hub to an actual app takes far longer than it should. For a premium TV, I expected smooth and seamless performance, but instead, I deal with lag and unresponsiveness that make even basic tasks frustrating. Severe Burn-In Problems The burn-in issue is by far the worst problem with this TV. I enjoy watching darker, high-contrast films, but after some use, the burn-in is so extreme that certain scenes are completely unwatchable. Blacks are inconsistent, and ghosting from previous images makes the viewing experience painful. I’ve already had the display replaced once, yet the problem persists—meaning this is either a widespread issue with this model or poor quality control from Samsung. Final Thoughts For the price, I expected much better performance, both in terms of smart features and display quality. Between the unbearably slow application hub and severe burn-in problems, I cannot recommend this TV to anyone looking for a premium viewing experience. Even after a display replacement, there has been no improvement, which makes it clear that this is a fundamental flaw in the design or manufacturing of this model.

Not what I expected
I bought this DU7200 75 inch a couple weeks ago. All reviews were good is the reason I bought it. Didn't realize it is a very entry level TV. I can't connect my older Bose system to it or my new Bose sound bar because it doesn't have optical or rca connections. I did connect the sound bar via Bluetooth just to find out the sound does not sync with the picture. I even bought an audio converter only to find out it wouldn't work either. wish I had kept my older Samsung that worked perfectly. I just wanted a larger tv. Lesson learned on my part that what seems to be good is not always what you get.
Hi Never to old to learn, Thank you for purchasing the Samsung DU7200 TV. To address the audio delay, you may want to try the Audio Pass-Through feature. This feature allows the audio signal to be sent out unprocessed to an external Soundbar or receiver connected to the TV. The external Soundbar or receiver then processes the audio, thereby eliminating the added step of processing by the TV, which adds delay. To activate this feature, go to Settings > All Settings> Sound > Expert Settings > Digital Output Audio Format > set to Pass-Through. For assistance to troubleshoot why your converter is not working, please know we are always available and happy to help. Call us at 1-800-SAMSUNG, 8 AM - 12 AM EST, seven days a week.
