Execllent TV for functionality and pix quality

Purchased 6 months ago, easy to install, excellent picture, good size for living room...attached external amp via optical. USB ports all work well, price is excellent for the functionality...remote took some getting used to but found how to use via UTube

instruction booket

For the most we like the tv. Don't understand how to get our local channels set up.We were told that we could hook up an antenna for our local channels. Not sure if there was an instruction booklet with it. If there was it most have gotten lost. It sure would have been helpful.

Very good buy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very good choice for a television. Am very pleased with pic. quality ease of setup. Connected to WiFi very easy procedure. Love the Samsung channels built into their sets. I haven’t made it to the end of the list yet. I start scrolling to see how many channels their are and end up finding something to watch.

Little disappointed

Disappointed. After setting up the TV, everything works fine for about a month and then the TV all of a sudden has no sounds. The TV had to be turned off several times and then the sounds came back. TV works fine and the it happened again few days later with sounds distorted. Restarted the TV again twice, nothing works. Waited few hours as I needed to go out, sounds returned when I got back and turned the unit back on. Obviously there was some defective someone. Unfortunately, I didn’t have time to engaged customer service with the issues as I had family issues to take care of. This is my second Sam Sung TV in the house. First one still functioning well purchased 5 yrs ago. I can’t say he same for this latest one even though it supposed to be better than the previous one that I have

There are a few troubleshooting steps I recommend trying: 1) Please check the volume control of your TV, and then check the volume control of any external devices (cable box or satellite box, DVD, Blu-ray, etc.) connected to your TV. Also, check the cable connection between any external device and the TV and then try the cable connection again. 2) Set Sound Output to the TV Speaker by going to Settings > All Settings> Sound > Sound Output. 3) Check whether Digital Output Audio Format is set to Pass-Through by going to Settings > All Settings> Sound > Expert Settings > Digital Output Audio Format > Auto. not wonderfull

I am pretty disappointed that the messaging app no longer has a microphone for voice to texting. I have spent way to much time trying to resolve this significant annoyance. many app replacements are not as funcional on this phone. My approval of this upgrade is still being evaluated. SJ

The features are amazing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Are really enjoyed.The options between the different picture ones that they have and I.Also , really enjoyed the really Chris sound that it carried although I test the soundboard for my optical media oi put Android.The wifi can be connected from quite part throughout the house and my device was Connected to it. I also enjoy that I get all the apps that I really like on there like Disney plus

Good TV, reccomend it above some others.

4th Samsung tv I've had, and this one seems to lose communication with internet often. If there's a momentary outage, Samsung won't restore w/o a turn-off/on. Frustration. Other devices restore quickly. Great picture, occasional issues with tuning various app's; MAX, Paramount+ mostly. Samsung did mostly stand-up for failed "curve" tv, after many months of "testing".

Would not recommend

I bought this a month ago and the color and sound were great. I would have rated it a 5 but within 30 days it stopped working, no picture or sound. I've had several Samsung TV's and really liked them but lately seems like there are several problems with them.

Small remote control buttons

Unfortunately, I am not smart enough to be able to use a smart tv. The remote controls buttons are so small. Itʼs hard for us seniors with our arthritic fingers to maneuver. Also the key pad is not lit. Wish I could get a larger, senior friendly remote. Remote control has no microphone to search, even tho screen says ask......

TV for the 21st century

I purchased this tv in the hopes of upgrading my tv experience. It did that! I haven’t had much experience with smart tvs, so there was a bit of a learning curve about how things work. But as time has progressed I have discovered more and more things that my tv can do and enjoy it more and more. I especially like the smaller remote and the initial screen when the tv is turned on. I like the ready availability of streaming shows and the ease with which I can switch from streaming to cable tv.
