We're glad you shared your experience. We have many quality checks in place and we certainly wouldn't expect our razor to have battery issues. In case this helps, here is some information about how to charge your Heated Razor: Prior to first use, the GilletteLabs Heated Razor needs to be activated via the charging dock, otherwise it can't be switched on. To activate the razor, plug in the charging dock and place the razor on the charging dock. When the handle sits properly in the charging dock, the product is in an upright position and charging will start automatically. This is confirmed by regular white pulsing of the charging indicator and the dock indicator. Prior to first use, it's recommended to charge the razor for at least 1 hour. A full charge takes about 6 hours and provides about 15-18 minutes of heat. When fully charged or when the handle is taken off the charging dock all indicators turn off. If you've done this, and your razor still isn't working as expected, please give us a call at (800) 445-5388. We'd like to hear from you and continue to help.
