Does not last long wih the heated element

I have had my Heated razor for over 18 months. It no longer works as I cannot not get it to heat any longer. So I would not recomend purchasing. The concept is good and while it worked it was great. This is not built to last and we are paying a premuim for the razor and a very high price for blades.

Better than regular Gillette

I’ve had mine for a year now. It is better than a regular razor but it doesn’t have one flaw. A bar below the blades heat up, the blades do not heat up. The blades should heat up unattended of the bar. That would be much better. I bet it would shave through the hair better too if the blades heated up instead of the bar. Other than that this is still better than a normal fusion razor.

Nice shave and great service from Gillette !

I purchased the razor in early November 2019. I use it daily and have a heavy beard so I have used many razors looking for the one that best works for me. From high end electrics to cheap disposables. Though the price at first gave me hesitation.... I went ahead and purchased it. I have never regretted it ! Take your time shaving to allow the heat to perform, use a good cream and shaving brush and you get a very clean and comfortable shave ! Now for the most important thing for me ..... two weeks past the one year warranty the heating part quit working :( I called Gillette service and they were fantastic !!! I received a email from them to confirm the date of purchase, they then emailed a postage page label for the the broken razor to be returned to Gillette. I received a email when they got the razor and then they shipped a brand new, complete razor to me ! It confirmed for me again how great Gillette is a providing a great product with equally great customer service !!

Excellent Razor-Closest and Most Comfortable Shave

I recently bought this Heated Razor kit Through The Art of Shaving Site, where I am a regular customer for their premium shave products. I have been using their Lexington Collection 5 blade ProFusion flex ball Micro pulse razor for shaving a course beard on sensitive skin and can cut easily, but get great shaves from this as comparison After using the new heated razor, after using the same prep routine of a hot wet towel, massaging in preshave oil and using a brush under hot water to lather, I had the best wet razor shave to date. It cut my beard like it was butter and left my face baby bottom smooth with not rash, irritation or cut. Never experience this before- This is a great razor and was worth the money! I found that if you rinse the razor blades and heat bar under hot water before and during the shave, it add more heat and warmth making it easier to get closer to the beard. I also bought the travel/charger/storage case and it is a great addition to have. Nice design.

A great Shave!

I used this for the first time and it was very cool ( real warm). Great concept, and when you break the price down its very reasonable per year. I like the concept, I wish it vibrated like the fusion does. I also really like the size of the handle, o it is nice and big.

Faulty product

I bought this product a month ago - was happy initially but today suddenly a metal wire popped out the shaver and it hurt me on face while shaving. Didn't notice earlier what is going on - thought the blades got bad but when look closely a metal wire is out there and it hurts. Not expecting this as paid a high $$ amount for the heated razor. Disappointed.

Really like this razor!

I have recently purchased my second Gillette heated razor. The first lasted two years, when it would not stay on and did not heat. Probably the battery just died. I bought another one so that in itself says I was pleased, and I am. i shave every day, no exception and i like a very close shave. This razor makes something that is a chore every morning easier, enjoyable and not a job to dread doing. I prepare my beard with quality (Art of Shaving) cream first. The shave really is great as I do not like to feel stubble when I am finished. As for the blades, I have gotten as long as two months from one blade, shaving every day. I highly recommend this razor.

OK when nj it works

OK, Not OK…. When it heats up it is fantastic. But about 50% of the time the razor does not best up and is just another razor. Why Gilette cannot get it together a s engineer a truely working model is beyond me. Some engineer should be fired! Concept is great. I will say the feel of the razor ams handle is perfect. The only open if is heating up on a regular basis.

Gillette makes the Worlds best Ravor

Got this razor for Christmas. I have been using this razor for almost 3 months. This is absolutely the best, comfortable razor I have ever owned. I just love the heat factor the razor gives out, plus the smoothest shave I ever had. If your in the market for a razor, buy this one, it is absolutely the best. Thank you Gillette-------

Mine suddenly stopped working

I haven’t even had this 6 months and only use it a couple of times a week. It has already stopped working. It no longer can recharge itself. Also the shave itself is not as good as the Gillette Fusion line of disposable razors. You will nick yourself a lot more with this razor. I don’t think it’s ready for prime time yet. Disappointing given the price tag - you’d think they would have verified longevity and effectiveness more before launching.
