Would It Be Too Much To Ask...

Would it be too much to ask for a combination of the new Heated Razor AND an option for vibrating? As I now enjoy this amazing new version, I have realized how much I miss the vibrating feeling as well... and the clear, clean shave it provides!! Mr. Roboto at GilletteLabs, PLEASE tell me that these are on the pipeline!! (take my money, please non-cookie cutter responder!)

Major defect stops charging in under a year of use

I bought this 9 months ago and the razor stopped charging (a common occurrence if you read the reviews. They sent a replacement but that one also stopped charging after 6 months and now it’s not under warranty. I’m sure Gillette is aware of the problem but sells defective razors anyway. Surprised no one has started a class action lawsuit.

as you'd expect

tried one out... got the shave i expected from a multi-blade Gillette. the whole heat bar concept is just hype though. The working concept behind a hot towel shave is to steam the beard for a minute before the shave, softening the hair, not just to be pleasant. The little electronic heater in these razors isn't going to do that.

Pointless and too expensive

It's not the best shave you'll get and the heat does nothing for the shave. I know they will answer this with the same replay it's barber's shop experience blah blah. Well it's not. It's better to use Gillette Fusion, WIkinson or whatever because you'll get a better shave form much less money. And that is the truth. What we want is the best shave with the fewest skin irritation and this product simply does not provide that. And please don't start with that boring obsessive compulsion disorder storyabout the barber's shop experience .

Best razor I’ve ever owned

Bought this 6 weeks ago, love it, not just for the heat but it gives me a great clean shave, I love shaving again, I hesitated for a month because of cost, but thought I’d chance it, glad I did. I agree the cost makes this not for everyone, pricey for my budget too but I decided to treat myself on my birthday.

Pretty Good Shave, but....

My wife bought me the heated razor 13 months ago (to replace my Fusion Pro Glide which I still have). Just a few comments which I hope will garner a response. 1. Shave is good and comfortable, not great. It’s not as flexible as the Pro Glide (and the vibration helps). Any changes in the future for vibration? 2. The battery doesn’t last as long as it should. Mine is definitely starting to go. Can I replace the battery? Does Gillette offer this service? Of not, perhaps they should. 3. The razor doesn’t clean as well as I had hoped. Is there a brush or other tool that will clean it better?

You've got some great questions, and we're happy to help. To clean the GilletteLabs Heated Razor, rinse the device under warm running water until all residue has been removed. You may use non-abrasive liquid soap and rinse thoroughly, but we do not suggest using any sort of brush on your device. Hot towel shave

I have been using this Razor since the first week of Jan 2022. I shave every morning. This razor is the best I have ever used (been shaving for over 25 years). The heated feature reminds me of the old-school hot towel barber shop feeling at your home. It truly makes a difference when you use the heated feature. Once you start using this heated razor, there is no going back to a regular razor. I like how the face feels after the shave. the blades last for 12 days for me (without skin burn feeling). Also, I have thicker facial hair. The longevity of the blades really depends on the type of facial hair. The battery lasts for 7 days full shaves without charging. (Avg 10 min shaves). If you are traveling for a few days, then you do not need to take the charger. I absolutely love this razor.

Suddenly Stopped functioning

My son had purchased Gillette heated Razor & gifted me during his last visit to india. It was working absolutely okay. Suddenly it has stopped functioning! Once I switch on after full charge, LED starts blinking continuously for few seconds & switches off immediately. Can you provide me any solution?

Worst razor ever

I purchased these product about last year but have rarely used it cause I'm not home most of the time but with this laid off cause of the covid 19 I am starting to use these product more and more and THE WORST PURCHASE I HAVE EVER MADE DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY NO GOOD I REGRET IT

Wonderful razor. Customer service needs work

Razor stopped charging. Called the number and was told to send it in. They received it on 9/5/2020. When I called today 10/12/2020 they only show it being received in. Can’t tell me when it will ship back or if I will even get my razor back. It was a gift so I didn’t have the receipt to send in with it. It was wonderful while it worked. Now I’m out a very expensive gift from my wife.
