Both bags were moldy. When I called about getting a credit they said I had to bring them all the way back to the store and take them inside. The whole point of pick up is to be contactless so I just paid for them. The quality is getting worse and worse

Usually delicious. Last 2x, bad odor.

Inconsistent quality. I've purchased dozens of times and most all times they are delicious. My last 2 purchases were not fresh at all, to the point of causing an awful odor in less than 3 days. I returned the bunch and picked up another. Same issue; I gave it the sniff test and ... yuck! They looked good but when it comes to fruit and veggies, "smell" is everything! And they did not smell good!! Now I am hesitant to buy them from Sam's again. I gto our of my way to purchase asparagus at Smith's instead.

Check the asparagus carefully

I bought asparagus this morning and when I went to put it in my car I noticed the tops were all slimy. I went right back into the store to exchange them because I needed them for dinner and it took over 20 minutes in line because they only had 1 person in customer service.

Good Value

Historically the product is firm yet ripe. It seems to last for up to a week so it is not a problem if you cannot get through the entire bag in one single meal. Overall I have found them to be very tender and generally can eat almost the entire stalk.

Love these roasted

The asparagus from Sam's Club has always been fresh and beautiful. I love to roast it in the oven by shaking it in a bag with olive oil, salt, pepper, and parmesan. Sometimes I use fresh oregano from my garden or other fresh herbs. I dump them from the bag onto the cookie sheet, spread them out and roast. They're so good that it's almost like eating chips. ( you can't eat just one)

Green wonder

🌟 **Asparagus: The Green Wonder (With a Quirky Side Effect!)** 🌟 Asparagus is a deliciously crunchy vegetable that elevates any dish. Just a heads up: it may cause your pee to stink, thanks to asparagusic acid! But don’t let that stop you—enjoy its tender texture and health benefits in every bite! 🌱✨🥗

Produce selected was not edible

I have always "declined" to review my purchases but this time it was definetly something corporate should be informed. I had decided to "try" having an employee select a piece of produce that I have purchased previously & really enjoyed. Unfortunately, I received a pkg of Asparagus that not only was almost at an expiration date, but the buds/tops of asparagus were weepy, falling apart & bottoms were dried out. As I have watched employees look at a sheet & grab the 1st item off the shelf, this is probably what happened. No time taken to ensure the product would be edible......as it was more costly to drive back I just threw the pkg away & never again will I use the curb side for produce where scrutiny is needed by the employee as to whether product is eatable. They probably don't even know what it is.

Easy and delicious way to eat more veggies

We're recent empty nesters so I feel guilty buying club size items many times except when it comes to vegetables which I don't think I can ever eat too much of. Asparagus is great eaten raw or cooked. Use them as a side, put them in omelets, salads, snack, or even dress them up to be a main dish. Can't go wrong.

Disappointing

Brought these home and opened the package immediately. The asparagus was off-color, slimy and smelly! I did get a refund but this is the 3rd package of produce I have received through the pickup service that was not up to par. In-store shoppers need to do a better job.

Asparagus summer vs. winter

Very inconsistent. during summer months they are very small which to me means its probably more natural and fresh. Go buy this in the winter time there 4x the size and they tend to not go bad for weeks. I will refuse to eat it after that long anyway but something is off about these in the winter months.
