The only litter that works for the five of them is multi-cat litter. Now that our 22 year old neighbors cat is living in our garage, I use it for her also. Best product for us!

This litter is awesome I have tried a lot of litters in my lifetime. When I found Freshstep I found the perfect litter. I don't have to change this litter as often. there isn't hardly a smell at all as long as you take care of the litter box. the clumping is great. My cats don't mind this litter either. They don't have litter stuck in their little paws. I know this litter costs a little more but its well worth it. I will not be purchasing any other litter ever again!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the very best litter I've ever used. No one would ever guess you have a cat in the home unless they saw them. The clumping factor is good and there is very little dust involved when pouring and changing.

I really like the low dust but the ODER CONTROL has gone WAY DOWN HILL!! I have 5 inside cats and clean 6 boxes everyday. I thought one of the cats was sick as one of the litter box areas started to smell like cat urine I pulled the boxes out to clean, nothing on floor but the box smelled really bad. I had changed that litter 7 days B4. I have used Fresh Step B4 they had scoopable litter and have NEVER HAD AN ODER PROBLEM UTILL THE FABREZE additive. My cats LOVE the old Fresh Step and don't want to use anything else but I will have to find another litter as I will NOT live with the STINK!!!

We have a multi cat household and I won't use any other litter. I've tried others and they don't come close to the effectiveness of Fresh Step. It clumps tight for easier removal and keeps the area around the potty box surprisingly fresh. And best of all and most important our cats use it ALWAYS.

I have used other litter, and the only reason I switched to Fresh Step was because the person who watches my cats when I am away complained about the litter I was using. Since she watches my cats for free, I accommodated her by using Fresh Step while I was away. Turns out that I liked it so much that I am now using it all the time! It clumps well, but not so hard that it is hard to get out of the litter box. The scent is pleasant but not overpowering, and 38 pounds of litter lasts quite awhile (I have four cats). I also love that the 38 pound box is actually two 19-pound boxes that make it much easier for me to carry upstairs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have four adult cats in our small 1500 sq. ft. home. They share two large litter tubs in the small laundry room. We are in the process of selling our home and the realtor tells the potential buyers we have cats so they come with some preconceived ideas that the home will smell like cats. We have had numerous compliments saying how amazed they are to not smell any urine or feces. We keep the litter scooped and changed as a routine. The room is also swept and sanitized with oder eliminator and disinfectant spray. This is our secret along with using Fresh Step Febreeze Multi-Cat Litter. It is the ONLY litter we use! The only cons is still with the dust. Fresh Step has made improvements but the dust remains an issue as it travels airborne and can settle on things. For this reason 4 stars is a fair rating.

I decided to try all brands of litter to minimize smell and messy tracking! Fresh step clean paws is the best! It clumps great, it keeps the smell down( I have multiple cats) also there’s barely any litter outside! Only a few pieces compared to hundreds from other brands! No dust what so ever!
