[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Last month I thought I would save some money by purchasing the Publix brand of freshstep cat litter. I have been using Freshstep Multicat for years and have been very happy. When I brought the Publix brand home, it was much smaller granules and my cat tracked it all over the house. It also was used up quicker because it absorbed the cat urine differently so even though it cost less, you used more. It was terrible and I returned it to the store. I love my Fresh Step and went back to purchasing it. You definitely get what you pay for!

We are a 5-cat family that has used a LOT of litter over the years. I feel like the Fresh Step formula must have changed over time. What used to work great at controlling orders now only seems average. It used to be that Fresh Step was the ONLY litter that we would use because it seemed like the ONLY one that actually worked for multiple cats. But, these days, I feel like some others are just as good or maybe even better. Again, I think they have slowly changed the formula over the years -- for the worse. Also, I always preferred the reusable buckets. Losing them was a huge deal for us.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've tried most of the litter brands and Fresh Step is the only one that truly controls odor. The clumps also dry up so you don't have to clean up a gooey clay like clump. The Febreze really does the trick!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this for my 3 cats after several other attempts at different brands of cat littler and being unsuccessful I found fresh step. It’s an amazing litter that keeps the doors out and smells down. Well worth the money and offered in a variety of sizes and packs.

I have been buying this for over 15yrs I have always had 4 cats or more. Never smelled pee or poop. Even when gone for a week. Great clumping very easy to clean. The only negative thing its says 38 lbs of cat litter well I have a 40lb plastic tub I use an it dont fill that to just barely so not believing there is 38lbs of cat litter. An I dont like the bags or boxes I would prefer it come in something durable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fresh Step is the best brand of cat litter that I have found to really control odor. No stinking box, good clumping power, I have two cats and would recommend this product for any one with multiple litter boxes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I having been ordering Fresh Step clumping Multi Cat litter with Febreze, for several months. I tried others and none are as good as Fresh Step in clumping and controlling odor. I have four cats. I recommend Fresh Step with Febreze.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have 2 cats and this litter works great if I don't get to the litter box for a couple of days! Keeps the odor down and clumps very well. Just wish it wasn't so dusty. Otherwise I would rate it a 5!

I recently decided to switch litters and got the Multicat Clumping with Febreeze, and it's easily the greatest litter I've ever tried! Clumping is always the best, especially when you have multiple cats - I scoop out clumps daily, only having to clean out the entire box every other week - but the Febreeze makes it even better! Each time one of my cats goes to the bathroom instead of an odor I get a whiff of Febreeze, which is awesome. And I don't think the price is bad at all. My new go-to litter!

I loved the way the litter clumped. However, the scent was a bit too much for both myself and once of my cats. He refused to use the litter box with the febreeze litter but used the other fresh stop boxes fine. No big deal! Just didn't purchase the scented litter again. We love the scent free!
