I tried these on a whim and so glad I did. They have a great smokey flavor and made fantastic sandwiches with kraut. Reading some other reviews, I will have to try in many other dishes mentioned. Casing wasn't as tough as others have complained about. Definitely buying again.

If you like the real kolbasi from your town German / Polish butcher, Kiolbassa Beef Sausage is the next best thing. The flavor is absolutely wonderful. I'm an old school Slavic, so I eat them with pickled beets and pickled eggs. They're a true value, both kinds are great the regular and the JALAPEÑO

I just had some of these at my "bonus son's" 4th of July party. He had tri tip, pulled pork and these sausages. He prepared them in a pellet smoker using applewood chips, then lightly glazed them toward the end with sugar lips glaze. They were awesome! We used a knife & fork, so can't speak to making sandwiches, yet. I have a natural gas grill, so it'll be slightly different in cooking. I also look forward to making gumbo with them. Nom nom!
