Sometimes these sausages are a 5*, hands down. Sometimes they are so so fatty they should get a 3. However, they are still some of the best dinner sausages I have ever had, even as a 3, and while they might be a bit on the pricey side for some, are absolutely delicious.

OMG ... you will love this sausage for all the right reasons!!! It isn’t salty, it has great flavor, and it freezes well. I had never heard of this company but I had an opportunity to sample at the store. After one bite I was hooked and you will be too!

Not quite sure how to eat these. We tried grilling and under the broiler. They end up tough and chewy but the casing doesn't want to come off without destroying the sausage. Sausage making seems to be a lost art because these are nothing like the ones we had a few years ago.

I have no idea why it is necessary to use so much salt in this sausage other than to make it have a longer shelf life. The sausage has a good flavor but it is so over-salted that it becomes sickening for my husband and I after a couple of bites. I love salt but this much is over the top, so I won't be purchasing this again. (Kiolbassa could easily cut the salt content in half) Offer a lower salt version and I will reconsider.

Great flavor

They taste good. I agree with another reviewer that the skin is thick. However, what disappointed me was there with almost each bite, I bit down on small bone chips. I can’t finish the pack due to this. I have never had that issue with the name brand product.

these are only good if you smoke or bbq them.... you cannot eat these straight from the fridge like it claims on the label, and you cannot pop into microwave for 1-2 minutes like a hot dog, the PORK casing is soo tough you need to burn it off in the bbp pitt or maybe grill or something.... but man its so chewy.... I usually smoke them with the other meats, but today I decided to try just warming them up for 1 minute in the microwave and never again... the package says just slice into pieces and serve cold pretty much, but the casing is so tough... you need to bbq them ...

I tried these on a whim and so glad I did. They have a great smokey flavor and made fantastic sandwiches with kraut. Reading some other reviews, I will have to try in many other dishes mentioned. Casing wasn't as tough as others have complained about. Definitely buying again.

I've seen this at Sam's Club for some time but didn't really pay much attention to purchase until I did the other day only to find out that they are indeed beef sausages but they have pork casing. While I might be able to handle it, my family and/or guests would not be able to since the majority of then do not or cannot consume pork of any kind. It's kind of a bummer since they're a Texas brand and I'd like to support them but I won't be able to buy these again until they're able to replace the pork casing unfortunately.

These are so good, they are the only sausages I will buy now. The cheaper varieties have an over-processed texture and rely heavily on salt and fat for flavor. Kiolbassa sausage tastes like real food and has a very nice "bite". They are also free of MSG and gluten, so they are a good fit if you cook for people with these sensitivities.
