At least 40 cloves were moldy, some completely covered in green mold. I love too far from my Sam’s to return it. But gross.

Great product

Grind it and put in freezer Ziplocs in thin layer. make cut lines with a ruler so you can break a piece when ever you need. This is easy to use and stays fresh for long time. Does not alter the flavour.

Great product. As with any fresh produce item it must be used in a timely manner. I roast mine in olive oil on the day they arrive and store them in the oil until I have used them all.

Purchased 2/2/2023 with a use by date of 2/14/2023 and I find 1/3 of the bag is moldly cloves. This happens way too often. I'm tired of getting bags of this garlic, opening them up, and seeing a lot of moldy cloves inside.

Great value, but I agree with other reviewers. If you don't use this bag up within a week it easily molds. I try to grind and freeze the day I buy it to prevent waste.

Read the fine print. This is from china. They are having massive produce issues in china/plenty of stories on Facebook. And with shipping delays, that stuff was old before it got here. Not again for me.

It would have been great to have so many bulbs of garlic peeled. I blend and freeze but i had to remove the bad ones. Some I kept whole in an airtight container. Days later they were molded. Ill stick with the international market. Never had this much of a problem.

I have bought this product twice. The first time, the product started growing mold within a week of opening. I figured I had just bought a bad bag because it was within 3 weeks of the use by date. I really have to watch what I buy at Sam's because multiple times I have purchased items near or past their expiration date, and they were not special buys. The second time I purchased this item, the garlic was molded when I opened the bag. It was 6 weeks to the expiration date, and I had just gotten it home. I will not purchase this again.

Over the years, I have bought Spice World Fresh Peeled Garlic 3 lbs. The last two purchases, however, I have thrown away due to mold and rot Quality has declined to the point of being unsafe. I will never buy the product again. From now on I will buy quality fresh garlic elsewhere eventhough I must peel the cloves.
