I chop the garlic in a food processor, mix with a little evoo, put in a freezer bag, flatten, make little squares on the outside of the bag using the flat side of a long knife and put flat in the freezer. When I need garlic, I just pinch off the number of squares I need. It keeps a loooooooong time.

Great quality garlic from Spain (a bit spicier) with unbeatable price. Tips: Do not trust expiration date on these. They will go bad a lot sooner than its expiration date. Also watch for scarred garlic as it tends to mold easily. We ended up throwing away half of the bag 2 weeks before its expiration date due to mold.

I use my Pampered Chef garlic chopper on the entire bag, then freeze in Ziploc snack bags and then use throughout the entire year. I use a lot of garlic so it’s nice prepping it and freezing it all at once, and then you just pull out of the freezer and break off what you need from the little snack bags. Saves so much time and I don’t have to mess with fresh garlic unless I want to use some in a roast. I do preserve several pods and put those in snack bags and freeze it, then insert the whole pieces in roasts

Hardley any smell or taste, I have no idea how long it has been in the bag. I use a bunch of garlic, but I would have to use triple in the bag to get a good taste. When you open up garlic you expect to smell it. I was going to make a batch of sauce and some pesto and could not get enough in to even taste. I seared some in a pan with my Salman and no taste. It went into the trash.

These last forever and I use garlic a lot!! They freeze well and I just grab them from the freezer as I need them. In fact, I think they’re better than fresh garlic because those tend to go bad faster and the convenience of not having to peel them is a huge plus.

The garlic smelled sour and some of the peeled garlic cloves were translucent in color. I thought this was just a variation in the garlic, but indeed when I brought it home and opened up the bag, I knew that this was just old garlic bags that Sam’s put out to sell. Such a waste of money as I couldn’t even get a few uses out of it and had to discard the majority.

The cloves were fresh, firm and cleanly peeled, which saved me a lot of prep time. To make it even more convenient, I crushed the garlic, portioned it into small cubes in a ziplock bag, and stored it in the freezer for long-term use. It freezes very well and keeps its strong, fresh flavor. Now I can easily grab a cube whenever I’m cooking. I will definitely buy this again.

One of my little kitchen pet peeves is peeling garlic. Buying this large bag of fresh peeled garlic cloves is a no-brainer for me! I wash them first in water and splash of white vinegar, let dry, vacuum seal small portion packets, then freeze. These cloves are very nice and delish!

More than half the bag was rotten. The flavor is not as good as the fresh garlic.

Great price for a lot of garlic. I process it in a food processor with a little olive oil and place scoops on a tray to freeze for cooking. Works great and less expensive than buying a head of garlic weekly and easy to use.
