We're very happy so far with our XXL Sentry Safe! Our old Sentry Safe is 14 years old and still works great! Only suggestion I have is they need to work with their shipper, UPS, to stop damaging the safes while they're in transit. 1st one was damaged severely and had to be replaced. The replacement was also damaged but not as severely.

Roomy, easy to operate. Heavy enough to be substantial but still easy to move with a small dolly or hand truck.

This safe has a good design. The instructions for setup are well done and include bolt products.

The battery holder, that holds the batteries was missing, had to wait from Friday night till Monday morning to call in and try to get one, called in and they said one is being sent to us, we received the battery holder and we can now use the new safe, easy to operate and convenient shelves, key holders and storage in door.

I think it’s a fine safe but I think the handle could be made to exert just a little more force before purposefully slipping on the actuator. I know this is to protect the components of the actuator and I know, my safe being water resistant, seals tighter than most, but I find that it’s better if I use one have to depress the handle and the other hand to push in the door slightly.

I wanted a safe with a key lock only, but got this one even tho it requires a pass code as well, because I couldn't fine key lock only safe. The key is not necessary as long as you never lock it. Turns out to be the perfect size and easy to open, even with the dual locking system, if I use the key.

I love that there is a master code that can not be deleted and that you can add and delete additional codes. My husband said when he bolts the safe to the ground it will void the waterproof warranty. So if there's anything that I'd like to be different would be that it could still be waterproof after bolting it to the ground perhaps there could be some type of rubber cover to put over the bolt?

I've only been using the safe for a month, but it opens easily and the size is perfect for what I need. I would have given 5 stars but it doesn't come with a key and the fire replacement guarantee is only good if you register your safe within 30 days of purchase. Due to online order and store pickup, I didn't even get my safe until after the 30 days expired.

Safe has multiple versions ... all the same size. The lock mechanisms and interior amenities seem to be the difference. Wish I would have know then... feel like they are all packaged the same and the difference are subtle. Look for secondary key lock, sliding drawers, interior light options, digital or combination locking mechanisms. They are all different prices and never seem to be sold by the same places. Overall, safe seems satisfactory. Just wish I had paid more attention to the other options.

Loved my old safe with only a key but decided to go digital with key. I am not disappointed! The door opens smoothly, the inside is very roomy. I love the filing drawer and I organized all my paperwork for my family. The only disappointment was that the internal drawer lock is flimsy, and only one side connects. So I can’t use the lock part. But having a drawer is nice
