We're very happy so far with our XXL Sentry Safe! Our old Sentry Safe is 14 years old and still works great! Only suggestion I have is they need to work with their shipper, UPS, to stop damaging the safes while they're in transit. 1st one was damaged severely and had to be replaced. The replacement was also damaged but not as severely.

Roomy, easy to operate. Heavy enough to be substantial but still easy to move with a small dolly or hand truck.

This safe has a good design. The instructions for setup are well done and include bolt products.

I bought this safe for my coin collection and managed to fit most of it in here, will probably need a larger one some day. Safe opens easy and is well built, this is my second SentrySafe purchase, since the first one served me well for so long I saw no reason to purchase another brand. The only thing I wish they would do differently is to allow you to look up the model on the web site and have it display links on the actual safe page to the accessories (shelves, drawers, etc.) that are available to fit your model.

I wanted a safe with a key lock only, but got this one even tho it requires a pass code as well, because I couldn't fine key lock only safe. The key is not necessary as long as you never lock it. Turns out to be the perfect size and easy to open, even with the dual locking system, if I use the key.

The battery holder, that holds the batteries was missing, had to wait from Friday night till Monday morning to call in and try to get one, called in and they said one is being sent to us, we received the battery holder and we can now use the new safe, easy to operate and convenient shelves, key holders and storage in door.

Safe has multiple versions ... all the same size. The lock mechanisms and interior amenities seem to be the difference. Wish I would have know then... feel like they are all packaged the same and the difference are subtle. Look for secondary key lock, sliding drawers, interior light options, digital or combination locking mechanisms. They are all different prices and never seem to be sold by the same places. Overall, safe seems satisfactory. Just wish I had paid more attention to the other options.

Fortunately I do not have to review how well it held up in a fire as we are still safe and sound. It seems like it will protect its contents, it feels strong. It is large enough to hold important papers, jewelry and some irreplaceable pictures. I would recommend this safe to anyone that is looking for

I would give this safe a 5 star but I knocked 1 star for cheap-flimsy feeling plastic handles and plastic inside. And I knocked 1 more star for my biggest disappointment on the digital combination that is not always working. I have to enter the combination two or three times before the it unlocks - because of this I feel less secure about the safe.

I have not been able to get the safe open. I put in brand new batteries. I called support and they told me use a rubber mallet and lightly tap. That did not work. They suggested putting it on its back, adding some weight and waiting several hours. That did not work either. Right now I have a brand new, locked safe.
