Would have giving a 4 possibly 5 if the. handling was better and the handle was sturdier for more harder holding and the batteries have to be 100% charged to activate the locking mechanism and not just the keypad. But looks good and for being a small security safe it works well for the job ,it does have a piece of mind to fire damage# God forbid#

I was looking for something that would fit in a closet space that was not overwhelming in size yet large enough to store important documents and valuables. This just fit the bill. It was easy to set our own combination and looks and feels solid. The slide out trays are a nice touch as well as the hooks and pocket on the inside of the door. I liked the fire and waterproof rating as well.

The safe was easy to get set up, has plenty of space in it and the moveable shelves in it are very useful. It is our second Sentry Safe and additional piece of mind. Also spent less on it than we thought we would have to for a waterproof and fireproof safe.

The hinges could be designed stronger. An actual weld. Locking mechanism could be designed tuffer for the dollars you pay. All locking pins or bolts should be greased by factory. Other than that , for basic safety of documents and valuables seems to be a good buy. Really like the electronic lock. Make sure you bolt it down! Just because it's 120lbs it doesn't mean the thieves won't carry it out, if they can't open it.

Great Product. I did a lot of research beforehand buying this product. It’s 1 hr reliable fire proof protection is the best among the peers. Also I brought the XX Large and glad it fits all the precious documents , digital media etc.The replacement SAFE post fire is also awesome.

Loved my old safe with only a key but decided to go digital with key. I am not disappointed! The door opens smoothly, the inside is very roomy. I love the filing drawer and I organized all my paperwork for my family. The only disappointment was that the internal drawer lock is flimsy, and only one side connects. So I can’t use the lock part. But having a drawer is nice

This is a replacement for the same model we purchased in 2014 that is rusting from the inside out. The rust was getting on clothing stored near the safe. We liked it enough to purchase again. Our new safe arrived with a dent on the back corner, customer service offered to replace it but, since the dent appeared to be cosmetic we were offered an additional disount to keep it. I was very pleased with the customer service representitave.

The safe is the right size for my needs, easy to set up and easy to operate. My issues are with the bolt down instructions and the position of the rear ports. No instructions in the manual for the SFW205EVB rear bolt down option. When I drilled through the center of the top right port, it came out inside in the drawer slots to close to the side of the enclosure, no room for a washer or the head of the bolt much less a wrench to work the bolt.

I love that there is a master code that can not be deleted and that you can add and delete additional codes. My husband said when he bolts the safe to the ground it will void the waterproof warranty. So if there's anything that I'd like to be different would be that it could still be waterproof after bolting it to the ground perhaps there could be some type of rubber cover to put over the bolt?

Door seals seem tight to survive water intrusion. The interior walls and shelves appear to be a plastic material so I hope they can resist the extreme exterior heat of 1700deg for one hour. My other safes have bolts on the hinge side of the door and I don't see that here on this safe. Digital Lock works well and has 2 codes that can be programmed. Nice Shelves with optional document organizer available. I believe it would be nice to have recessed Floor Inserts to mount to the floor.
