We were looking for a medium sized refrigerator that had an ice maker. This unit meet the size requirement and had an option to install an ice maker as an add on from LG. Overall, we are happy with the refrigerator and the Ice maker. You can read my review on the ice maker under that units listing.

Multiple repairs are needed and waiting for another week to have the repairman return. Refrigerator had only 20% of the needed butane when tested. Would not purchase this product again.

We had to buy a fridge quickly when the door literally fell off our crappy old one! We choose this one because the price was great for the size. We have only had it for a few weeks, but so far it is working fine! The door catches on something...I think maybe the door shelf is hitting the veggie drawer or something? So sometimes the door won't shut on its own without being forcibly closed. Other than that it is working for us - and it has an attached door!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Was looking to replace an old upright freezer to save money. After serious consideration I was able to condense into an old refrigerator. Now I have replaced both old units into a 22 cf refrigerator that will pay for itself in a few years of operation savings. And I can’t hear the new unit run.

I wanted a good basic refrigerator, and this satisfies. It works well, is designed well, and has a relatively small footprint for it's internal space. It's quiet, except for occasional whimpering noises (which are soft, but odd). My only disappointment is that it doesn't have a freezer light. I didn't realize internal lights weren't standard, so it wasn't a "feature" I was looking for, but it's pretty obvious that it's missing. Also a bit disappointing that the "optional" ice maker appears to be unavailable anywhere.

I did some research online and decided to try LG for the first time in my 72 year old life. This frig is very, very quiet, is much more spacious inside than any other frig I've ever owned of that size, keeps everything at the right temp and humidity level thru out the entire frig and the freezer compartment, and it is so easy to keep clean (outside and inside). My wife loves it! I love my lower electric bills! Thanks LG.

The compressor was bad when we got it and our food spoiled. It took too long to get it repaired. Now less than 2 years later the freezer has stopped working. This is very disappointing. Now we have to come up with the money to buy another fridge. We certainly won't get this brand again. Customer service was very bad when we tried to deal with the defective new fridge so we're not going to try to contact anyone again.

I picked this fridge based on its dimensions, good brand reputation and decent price. Delivery was quick and painless, great experience indeed. The fridge itself did match the expectations, spotless, correct dimensions. White color matched the color of the cabinets. Once installed, the startup was smooth, the noise is very low - I was not sure if it was working or not until I started to sense the cold air flowing. However, I need to pinpoint a few flaws in the appliance: - it is very hard to level it because only two front legs are adjustable. I had to place additional pads under 3 legs to make it right. - lack of pantry drawer was surprise. The photos and the pictures in the manuals suggested there was one. - very inconsistent manuals and specifications. One says the required side clearance is 2", another one says 0.8". Third one says nothing except the back clearance. One manual instructs to leave it at 2* for 24h, another one says 3*. - the doors do not close freely. The seal on the hinge side touches the body of the fridge and requires a very gentle push to close the doors. I have applied tiny amount of silicone to the seal, it did help the freezer door, but not the fridge one. Will watch it.

Need to replace the compressor in less than a month.
