Glass shelves are a big plus for several purposes. Vegetables and fruits stay fresh so much longer with designated humidity control. LG LIFE IS GOOD AND JUST GOT BETTER.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Was looking to replace an old upright freezer to save money. After serious consideration I was able to condense into an old refrigerator. Now I have replaced both old units into a 22 cf refrigerator that will pay for itself in a few years of operation savings. And I can’t hear the new unit run.

We were in the market for a new refrigerator and had considered many brands and sizes. This fits perfect in our kitchen and has ample room for our garden produce. The crispers are fantastic! More than enough freezer space for ice and meat. The best purchase we have made in a long time!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this LG top-freezer refrigerator a month ago to replace a fridge I'd bought in 1996. I'm so happy with my purchase! I wish I'd done this years ago. I love the sleek simplicity of the design. Even though my new LG refrigerator takes up less space in my kitchen, the inside capacity is much greater than my previous fridge. I cook with lots of fresh veggies, so the large veggie drawers are a big plus. One of my favorite features is how quiet the motor is. I used to feel a sense of relief when the motor would shut off on my old fridge. My new LG is so quiet that I barely notice it. The attached photo shows just the bottom of my new fridge, and the treasure trove I found under the old one. My new LG refrigerator has another plus: it sits close enough to the ground that my cat, Lily, probably won't be losing her toys underneath!

This refrigerator model has had chronic intermitant electrical failures. Tripped my circuit breakers. Then we tried another outlet. Tripped that one. They had a tech out who did a software update. Still problems. It's intermittant. sometimes 3 days, a week, etc. Can't afford to keep loosing food due to spoilage.

Contacted the warranty department and within a few minutes the process started and with in a couple days we received updates and a promise of repair. The Technician, Timothy Wilbanks, arrived on time, diagnosed the issue and with in 90 minutes had the unit up and running. This was a spare unit so time was not an issue. Timothy was very pleasant and knowledgeable and knew exactly what to do.

This is a bit tricky but not difficult for anyone mechanically inclined. The fridge has nice arrangements for the shelves and drawers. The freezer is larger than other fridges with this total capacity. Temperature control is excellent. It is also very efficient based on the power use rating.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this as a replacement of a fridge that lasted 24 years. It does what it needs to do by maintaining the appropriate temperature. An ice maker is optional. It would have been nice if that was already included.

The freezer and fridge are both very spacious and it is very quiet when it runs. Only negatives so far is that I wish it included a deli drawer and a third shelf on the door.
