[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this LG top-freezer refrigerator a month ago to replace a fridge I'd bought in 1996. I'm so happy with my purchase! I wish I'd done this years ago. I love the sleek simplicity of the design. Even though my new LG refrigerator takes up less space in my kitchen, the inside capacity is much greater than my previous fridge. I cook with lots of fresh veggies, so the large veggie drawers are a big plus. One of my favorite features is how quiet the motor is. I used to feel a sense of relief when the motor would shut off on my old fridge. My new LG is so quiet that I barely notice it. The attached photo shows just the bottom of my new fridge, and the treasure trove I found under the old one. My new LG refrigerator has another plus: it sits close enough to the ground that my cat, Lily, probably won't be losing her toys underneath!

So far it's been a good performing refrigerator as all the beers I've sampled so far have been ice cold. In addition to keeping my beers cold it is also the quietest refrigerator I've ever owned. You can't even hear it running. Very happy with the purchase so far.

I bought this a month ago and am so happy I did. We really needed an extra refrigerator and there were a lot of choices but the design of this one was really the only one that made sense. A lot of the new refrigerators have giant shelves on the door and not really much interior room. This one has a nice balance and plenty of room inside.

The lighting in the fridge could be better, like on each side (and lower) rather than the small centered overhead light. The freezer definitely needs a light. when an optional icemaker is offered, please offer a water filter to go along with it. So far, product is good.

More freezer space than my old french door refrigerator and much more efficient layout in the refrigerator compartment. I like the compact footprint too! My home appliances are all gradually being replaced with lg products

Mostly happy with the refrigerator, works well enough, but the freezer fan failed after 10 months of use and had to be replaced. It was under warranty, so no charge, but still a nuisance and it wasn't cooling into recommended ranges. We were disappointed that the standard replacement part (the panel to which the fan is mounted) was not available and no ETA on a backorder. Fortunately, the fan itself was available and it came in the day after ordering. However, replacing it involved a fair amount of disassembly by the tech, including removing some insolation that was glued in. It was clear to me, as an engineer, that design for repair was not well considered. Furthermore, the assembly that could easily be replaced was not kept in stock. That seems like a failure for customer service.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this refrigerator to replace my18 year old one that stopped working. It is very spacious inside and runs fairly quietly. I would have given this 5 stars but the stainless steel doors leave prints as soon as you touch them. The good part is there are no handles and it easily opens by using the areas on the door that are black plastic. The glass shelves seem sturdy and they are adjustable. I do wish there was a drawer for sliced meats and cheese, but I have adapted one of the vegetable drawers to keep these items fresh. The butter compartment does not hold small square containers of margarine/ spread, it holds a 1lb box of butter. There is a bright LED light in the refrigerator, but no light in the freezer. The freezer is roomy enough and there is a glass shelf to allow for separating frozen foods. Overall, I am pleased with the refrigerator to date.

I am sorry not to give a positive review: freezer ices up every few weeks, fridge is never colder than 55. The shelf spacing inside not easy to organize items, crisper handles too big and no lowest shelf on door because of that. Door too close to floor, my bare feet get caught if I don’t watch out. The light is always on. The technician was in contact with me, but is a few hours away and has not yet scheduled a visit.

It's easy to see the contents, it works efficiently, and I'm pleased with the purchase. The only reason I'm not giving it five stars is that the handle arrangement is a bit awkward.
