I purchased this refrigerator 5 months ago. It worked fine and cooled sufficiently. Simple design with plenty of room in the fridge and freezer for a family of 4. Yesterday it started making a very loud noise that sounds like a lawnmower in my kitchen. I called LG because I have an extended warranty. They asked me to unplug it for 6 hours to let any ice buildup melt. That didn't help. The fridge is making even more noise. Now we must wait 10 days for a technician to come and see it. VERY disappointed with our new fridge. I had an old one for over 15 years and didn't have any issues like this.

Modern and valuable programming for the motors. Only one question left : how long will it last ??? It is a silent partner in my kitchen. I love it.

Purchased a year ago online during covid pandemic supply chain challenge. I needed a fridge right away and settled on this one for brand and color (I really dislike stainless.) It seems to maintain temperature fine. If the space for your fridge is in a corner like mine (next to a wall), be aware that removing the shelves is difficult. They come out best if you can open the door beyond 90 degrees, something I can't do in a corner. The shelves hit the door and won't come out easily. Also be aware that the glass inserts of the shelves do not come off the frames so if you spill liquids and the liquids get under the glass, you will not be able to clean under the glass. My previous fridge had the glass simply sitting in the frame and the glass could be completely removed and cleaned on both sides. These shelves have the glass attached (glued?) permanently and do not allow for removal of just the glass for cleaning. There is now dry liquid under the glass that I can't clean. GROSS! Also, be aware that when you close the fridge door, the freezer door pops open briefly and if the slightest thing is gently pressing on the inside of the freezer door, it will not close and will allow the freezer to thaw. Also, you have to use a good amount of force to close the fridge door or it will not close all the way (See video: https://youtu.be/f0u3MG8RhhI. This platform only allowed for the attachment of one video so I'm adding the link to the second video here.) Too much force, freezer opens. Note enough force, fridge door doesn't close. It's sleek and functional, but these little "inconveniences" make me think twice about buying LG in the future without full vetting in person in the store.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this unit several months ago and it has been running fine. The temperatures have been consistent. Space is adequate. Also, our electric bill has gone down somewhat and we opine that the fridge might have contributed to this.

I bought this for my garage as an addition. Refrig and freezer do NOT get cold enough. NO light in freezer. No thermometer as to tell what temp it is. Had to go out and buy two just so I knew. Guess you get what you pay for. Is so so for a garage not in house.

Some of the best features are the separate thermostat controls for the refrigerator and for the freezer. Most refrigerators in this size have only 1 thermostat which you need to carefully monitor to keep both sides at the right temperature. The refrigerator keeps all my food cold and therefore fresh! The plastic bins on the doors are not only heavy duty, but beautifully designed! Lastly, the finish on the outside is subdued and very modern looking. All in all a fantastic fridge!

After all the bad review of LG. I thought $400 is a good deal to try it. First delivery was a broken item, but the second one is good. Cools fast, so far, 10 hours, running perfect. Let see what happens, I kept my 16 years old refrigerator just in case….haha.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This refrigerator was a given to me a gift, which is sad because it was intended to replace a 25-year old refrigerator that was still working. Right now, after only 18 months, the back of the freezer compartment is making jackhammer noises and the refrigerator compartment is not cooling below about 58 degrees, causing mold to grow and forcing me to throw everything out. I checked to see if there was any ice build-up blocking the vents and everything is clear. I can't believe that LG products are only made to last for 18 months when I can pick up 25-year old refrigerators that are still running. This sours me on their entire line of products.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased this in May and have been very satisfied. Like .the lighting and door storage. I have a small kitchen and this was a perfect size as well as decently priced. Only feature that is missing is a cheese/lunch meat storage space.
