Refrigerator part is great - no issues. The freezer fluctuates in temperature radically - from -5 to +20 degrees F in a matter of minutes. Food packaging is often wet and then freezes with frost on outside of product. Works fine for anywhere from a day or two to a few weeks. Who knows how often it happens; pure luck if it's happening when I just happen to open the freezer. Just moved ice cream to my big freezer AGAIN, as getting soft after repair taking place yesterday. Repair visits are up to 4 now. There are some things I really like about the appliance, but this is unacceptable. I just want the fridge replaced. Period.

I bought this refrigerator in June 2024 to be used at a vacation property. It has never cooled properly since original purchase. I had someone to come out and repair the appliance in April 2025. Now 2 months laters, the appliance is again no longer cooling, and also has a huge leak. So had to put in another repair request, and try to function with a leaking, barely cooling refrigerator. Do not buy this appliance.

I look forward to many years of holidays and family events that the extra room of this Frig provides. One question was I know that the 20 inch does not have the Light and the 30 inch does. Would LG be open to making a light only fit where the ice maker would be? You already have the hub and all you would need is the light adapted to the connection. I would buy it.

I bought this item 1.5 yrs ago and I turned off ice maker couple months ago. Turned it back on and nothing. Calling support was useless. ONly 1 yr warranty says lot about LG as well. The support sucked and no reset button on ice maker. They were like call repairman.... Will never buy LG appliance again.

We purchased this online and were not sure how the extra trays on the doors were going to be, but they are very sturdy and hold so much more then we expected. For the price, you really can't beat this for size and it looks great too!

I purchased this refrigerator 5 months ago. It worked fine and cooled sufficiently. Simple design with plenty of room in the fridge and freezer for a family of 4. Yesterday it started making a very loud noise that sounds like a lawnmower in my kitchen. I called LG because I have an extended warranty. They asked me to unplug it for 6 hours to let any ice buildup melt. That didn't help. The fridge is making even more noise. Now we must wait 10 days for a technician to come and see it. VERY disappointed with our new fridge. I had an old one for over 15 years and didn't have any issues like this.

The door is reversible on this model. We did not ask the delivery guys to reverse them but opted to do it ourselves. It took my husband and son in law about a half hour or so to reverse them. The instructions to reverse the doors could be better. But with some logical thinking and some muscle (since some of the screws were quite tight) they are reversible. There is a similar model but the door did not reverse so we waited and finally LG came out with this model. We have had it for about 2 weeks so cannot comment on longevity but we have a similar LG refrigerator in the 33" for 3 years now and love it. This new one is for in law suite. Both are quiet. Fingerprints do show but not a deal breaker for me. I use stainless steel wipes occasionally to keep it clean. This model does not have an ice maker (optional) which is great since I did not want one. The only thing I would have liked is a light in the freezer compartment which it does NOT have.

Frig working fine. Does make a little noise when compressor comes on. It sounds like a couple of bottles clanging each other when they are too close to each other on a shelf. Didn't realize there is no deli drawer so cold cuts are just laying on a shelf instead of neatly in a drawer. Looking online for a universal deli drawer with no luck so far.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Top freezer appliances are not my favorite, but this was the only option In a small space. This is a very simple refrigerator with few highlights. The freezer section is simply a box, so it gets pretty disorganized. The refrigerator section has the bare minimum two drawers at the bottom, a place to put butter, and that is about it. I prefer side-by-side or bottom bottom freezer units, but there was nothing available at the time we purchased this refrigerator because of the limited space in our kitchen.
