This is a really great product. When I plugged it in, it came up to temperature in only 2 1/2 hours. It was very nicely packed in the carton and looks really nice and clean. It runs super quiet, the 4 wheels roll it smoothly into position and I love the glass shelves instead of the metal ones. There is no egg holder, though. The only problem I had was that the 3 holes for the ice maker were drilled improperly. One was kind of OK, one was stripped out and the bottom one wasn't even close to where the ice maker hole was! This made the ice maker installation very difficult. I had to drill a new hole and use a larger screw for one of the mounting bushings. Other than that, this is a great product.

Modern and valuable programming for the motors. Only one question left : how long will it last ??? It is a silent partner in my kitchen. I love it.

We chose not to buy one with the icemaker but later decided to purchase one and install it ourselves. It was very hard to locate one and when we did it took a couple of months before it was in stock for shipment. Once you go LG you'll never go back.

I bought this item 1.5 yrs ago and I turned off ice maker couple months ago. Turned it back on and nothing. Calling support was useless. ONly 1 yr warranty says lot about LG as well. The support sucked and no reset button on ice maker. They were like call repairman.... Will never buy LG appliance again.

After some use, I’m very happy with the amount of storage. I miss having a drawer for cheese and meat between the shelves and one has to be very careful not to stub one’s toe opening and closing the door because there’s very little clearance between door and floor.

The only reason for the four stars is that I constantly need to clean off fingerprints since the front of the refrigerator isn’t actually stainless steel. Otherwise, we’re very pleased with the appliance from the roominess to the quiet operation.

I bought this fridge because I wanted something that would run quietly. It worked just fine for 51 weeks and then started making noise. The technician said the fan needed replacing. So the first disappointment is that it didn't even last a year without a problem. That was at the beginning of February, nearly two months ago. The part had to be ordered, and that has taken quite awhile, which is the second disappointment. The return visit to do the actual repair has been scheduled for the first week of April. In the meantime, the fridge has deteriorated further. It now sounds like a Boeing 777 most of the day and night, and is making a whole host of new noises. There is nowhere to hide in my open plan home; the noise, and the vibration it causes, is so loud that there is no peace even in my basement. Based on the noise it's making, I'm worried that it won't last until the repair can be made. Overall, not a great experience.

I bought this refrigerator 5 months ago and it suddenly stopped cooling. It took 3 days for a LG technician to come, resulting on a lot of food spoiled. He told me just to defrost it. Done it and for 3 days, it seemed back to normal. But as soon as I went grocery shopping, cooling became a problem again. LG doesn´t seem to know how to solve the problem. If I keep the fridge half full, I get nice 3 to 4 degrees. As soon as I get it full, it goes to 9 to 10. I would avoid this LG refrigerator at all costs.
