[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We needed a new fridge that was quiet and Energy Star rated at a good price. Reversing the doors was an issue with the middle hinge. Contacted LG, and they sent a replacement hinge. So far, life's good.

If I had any concerns, it would be the depth of the fridge. It is difficult at my age to see into the back. Although I knew this from the beginning, I do miss external handles.

Bought entirely online; really should have tried to find one on display first. Far fewer options than the 20+ year old fridge it replaced. No light in the freezer, and no meat drawer didn't seem like a big deal, I was wrong. There is one setting control, so you can't choose different settings for the fridge and the freezer. Shelves are not easy to readjust; taller items (milk and juice cartons can only go on the top shelf if you want them upright. The fact that the freezer door pops open every single time the fridge door is opened was funny at first, until I realized it only closes on its own less than 50% of the time. I'm still training the household to check the freezer door everytime they get something from the fridge. Of course, after the fact, I see that little tidbit in other reviews. Supposedly more energy efficient, but too soon to tell.Already considering replacing it, which is rare for us, as we normally hang on to appliances as long as possible.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Looks great, plenty of storage. My only complaint is that it is too noisy... This unit produces a constant gurgling sound, which I am told is normal freon expanding... I sure hope so. Owned an LG fridge before and never heard this sound.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was disappointed with a few features it did not have. It did not have a bulb in the freezer, or a handle to open the door. In the freeezer I like a wider space to put things on the door. I also expected it have an ice maker.

I’ve had this refrigerator for about 3 weeks now and am really happy with it. It holds a lot, it’s super quiet, and so far the stainless steel finish has been easy to keep clean. The integrated recessed handles are great for opening the doors, and the doors close securely by themselves. This was not the case with the French-door model I had previously, so I really appreciate this feature. I bought refrigerator thermometers to monitor the temperature of both the refrigerator and freezer compartments, and both areas are consistently maintaining the recommended temps. Something else I appreciate is the the door shelves are so sturdy and can accommodate most big/tall items. I do wish that the refrigerator had a meat/cheese drawer in addition to the crisper drawers, but that’s my only complaint. One quick note: this refrigerator has styrofoam insulation within the cooling vents at the rear of the temperature control unit. At first I thought the installers had overlooked this and forgotten to remove it, but it is part of the unit and should remain in place. Do not attempt to remove it. This should be communicated more clearly in the product manual as I noticed several other inquiries about it online.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased our new LG Refrigerator in November. Very happy we did! It fits perfectly in our limited space, however so much room inside. It keeps everything at the perfect temperature and the vegetable/fruit drawers keep my produce so fresh. My only wish is that this model had a meat/cheese drawer. Also, I plan to look for a freezer organizer so that my ice cube trays can be separated from the rest of the freezer items. Other than that, we are extremely pleased with our purchase!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The breadth of the LG product line, the quality of LG no frills products I prefer, and some great recent price offers have caused me to make several purchases of LG products in recent months. My purchase of a 20 cubic foot, freezer on top, refrigerator is just such a product. The refrigerator is just what I expected and after two weeks of service, I can determine my purchase is a good bargain. The 5 level temperature settings have worked well at the medium setting right out of the box and the refrigerator does not run constantly like my old refrigerator brand, saving me money on electricity. I like the ample storage room in the door wracks and the clear, clean looking, adjustable shelves. I'm pleased with my purchase and because its an LG, believe I will be pleased long into the future. I've always had good luck with LG products.

During a redo of the door install it was discovered that a washer had to be better positioned and the middle hinge pin had to be removed from its frame and inverted.
