But obviously nothing to do with lg... but point if it is it took 2 weeks so when it finally arrived we had to load it up out of the box. It was ok cuz it got to temp very fast. This unit works great... for the price it's an extremely good deal

I bought this little fridge to fit in an area in our kitchen. This is not our main fridge and is used for condiments and drinks. The top self plastic cracked with in 9 months and the door shelf that still had the plastic on it from when it was purchased just broke in half one day. Not even a year and a half old. My main fridge is a worldpool and is 15 years old and still works like new. I would never by another LG product again. I was also told they would be replacing it and it's been almost 2 months and haven't gotten anything. Calling back with case # just gets me the run around.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought the product online and it’s a second refrigerator for us- the only downside so far is that when you close the refrigerator door the freezer door is jarred and I have to make sure it’s closed. Also we needed the door to open from the right and there was nowhere to request that before delivery so we had to do itbourselves

We bought this fridge to replace a 20 year old garage side-by-side fridge. We did not need any water or ice features, so it fit the bill perfectly. The delivery and installation went very smooth. The unit holds all of our goods and still has room. I would recommend it to anyone who needs an extra fridge, or just a simple one in the house. Our main fridge in the house is a large, French door LG model, which has been an excellent unit, so we stayed with the same manufacturer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this refrigerator quite some time a go and have had nothing but trouble with it . It takes quite a while for food to freeze, food in the bottom is going bad it ices up and does not defrost., the control to set the temp does not work.

Mostly happy with the refrigerator, works well enough, but the freezer fan failed after 10 months of use and had to be replaced. It was under warranty, so no charge, but still a nuisance and it wasn't cooling into recommended ranges. We were disappointed that the standard replacement part (the panel to which the fan is mounted) was not available and no ETA on a backorder. Fortunately, the fan itself was available and it came in the day after ordering. However, replacing it involved a fair amount of disassembly by the tech, including removing some insolation that was glued in. It was clear to me, as an engineer, that design for repair was not well considered. Furthermore, the assembly that could easily be replaced was not kept in stock. That seems like a failure for customer service.

The lighting in the fridge could be better, like on each side (and lower) rather than the small centered overhead light. The freezer definitely needs a light. when an optional icemaker is offered, please offer a water filter to go along with it. So far, product is good.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this to replace an 22 year old side by side in our garage....this little fridge has more room than the old one and a lot smaller foot[print. did not get an ice maker cause just wanted extra room for storage. Highly recommend this product if you don't need a lot of fancy features !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Runs quietly; both freezer & main compartment keep food apparently chilled. The deep shelves in door(s) provide nice storage for small items. I don’t like fingerprints on the stainless steel (I use alcohol wipes to remove them). Chose because of EnergyStar rating. Note: “ice box” is what we called them when I was a kid!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the design and finish on the appliance. Seems to be efficient, nice shelving and lower bins. I wish I would have requested a switch on the door hinges to the left side when facing the appliance. It was a very good choice overall!!
