Happy with the finished product and packaging. Took a total of 7 hours to assemble. 3 hours by myself to assemble all the base legs and curve beams. Attached c1&c2 to legs before standing up and attached them to the other legs standing up. 4 hours to stand up and assemble everything else with one other person. Used power tools to help speed up assembly. Note, use a long Allen wrench for screws FF & EE helps with pushing them through the beams and getting them in the screw hole( a piece of plastic helps to keep the screw from falling off the allen wrench placing it over the allen head.

This pergola is unlike any other I’ve found—especially at this price point. In beauty and function with its retractable shades, it is such a great buy! I had some headaches with delivery of the item via the freight service they used here in Georgia… but Sam’s made it right and showed that they value me as a member. Love my new pergola!!

The Pergola is beautiful, but one main support had a good size dent. As well as one or two other pieces, but those we were able to kinda straighten. A few of the bolt receptors also did not hold their welds and we couldn’t fully tighten. I called Sam’s today and we agreed on a credit amount to my account.

Packaging was thin cardboard which is not enough for 250 pounds of pure Chineseium steel, the contents were exposed and scratched when delivered. Instructions were vague in some places including a German word slipping in with the Chingrish. Tolerances were loose and some cajoling was required for some of the bolts to fit, but once built it is pretty impressive. The manual says not to use power tools, but I say do at low torque, save a few hours. It took two of us with power tools 6 hours to construct. Impossible to build alone so don’t even try. Happy with the finished project!

Very well designed and manufactured with easy-to-follow instructions. Arched top with three individual canopy sections is a classy touch that separates this design from the rest. Perfect addition to our front courtyard retreat.

The Pergola is very nice and the instructions were easy to follow. We actually had all the parts so we were able to put together from start to finish, but it took us about 7 hours. There was mostly 2 of us putting it together but we did have a 3rd person help for the final assembly.

It look a day to assemble and a couple false starts due to not reading the directions carefully. There were no directions on set up for the shades had to figure out on our own. All in all great purchase and 1 day set up not bad. Material durable and heavy.

Very nice! Fully satisfied! Easy assembling with 2 people, a ladder, and a few hours. Loving the retractable shade function!!!

I was very surprised to see that this pergola is iron, not wood. One experienced person put it together and it took him more than nine hours. There are lots of pieces and extra screws when done. It's large enough to put a bistro table with six chairs and a table with six chairs under it. I'm very pleased with this purchased.
