I’m a bit skeptical of kits, I was afraid it was cheap material and not sturdy enough , specially in our backyard where it can get windy. But I was pleasantly surprised. Material is pretty heavy and as described. My husband and I were able to put it together in one day- directions were ok, able to follow. One thing that we had issue with was the holes not lining up on one piece of the pergola, so had to forgo one screw, thankfully it wasn’t on one of the heavy structure parts. We skipped the canvas part , but can put in in the further if needed. Looks great, hopefully it holds up too.

We live in a hurricane area so the base plate to anchor the pergola is minimum at best. Had to create new ones to handle high winds. You should offer heavy duty base plates for such areas. I understand it would cost more.

The instructions read 1.5 hours to put together. No way, it took 3 men 8 hours (convoluted instructions and some machinery required as some holes did not match. Otherwise, a good purchase.

Took a bit to get, but think that is because delivery company was short handed. Looks great! Am excited to set up my patio under new pergola. Only down side was the instructions say 3 people 1.5 hours. That is waaaaay off! Would like to see that! 😂 We had 3 qualified people, 9 hours on a 90 degree day. Also no way you could only use the Allen wrench it comes with either. Also purchased separate anchors to drill into cement. Great quality and all parts accounted for. Would buy again.

I am happy with all of the labeling of parts and the detailed instructions on how to put them together for the most part. Everything worked pretty smooth until the very end with the textile roof. It is not quite clear how the Velcro straps are supposed to attach to the structure. There are magnets that seem like they designed to softly hold the text lane roof, but the Velcro straps appear to be too short to securely attached to the frame can’t tell if I’m not understanding or if I have it attached wrong. Any guidance would be helpful. Also, would it be possible to re-order replacement texting line roof as I feel like this may weather quicker than the rest of the structure and would be nice to have a back up

This "Light Brown" (actually medium Gray!) 12' x 16' Galvanized Steel Pergola was just the right size for a concrete patio in my yard. The 2 people I had assemble it took about 7 hours to complete the assembly and install with anchor bolts. It is beautiful and we're looking forward to using it regularly. The 3 cloth top panels are great except when there is wind. The supplied magnet system separates and allows the panels to slide open and closed with the wind. I'm going to work on an alternate system to keep the panels in the open or closed position more securely.
