We just put the pergolas together this weekend. it took four people and it took us about seven hours. It was well worth it it looks beautiful it is put together well. I’ve had people say they want to order the same thing and put it in their yard. It looks beautiful I wish I had done this along time ago.

Was skeptical at first and trying not to suffer from buyer's remorse. Once it was delivered I was pleasantly surprised! Very sturdy, and after 2 evenings we had it assembled and secured on our deck. It looks great. I would purchase again. One suggestion is to have someone help you who has a mind for construction and building instructions....it will be a big help in assembling. All in all, very pleased.

This pergola is unlike any other I’ve found—especially at this price point. In beauty and function with its retractable shades, it is such a great buy! I had some headaches with delivery of the item via the freight service they used here in Georgia… but Sam’s made it right and showed that they value me as a member. Love my new pergola!!

went together well. only one bolt for slide panels had thread start messed up. put together by one person, me. had help standing the two long sides up so i could connect the two top horizontals. put up in one day in over 100 degree weather. is metal, so if possible, would recommend putting together not in 100+degree weather haha. i had no choice. very sturdy. not at all the original design i had invisioned in our back yard. but i am glad that we decided to go with it now. if you like the shape, i would recommend this one. seems to be built well, and seems very sturdy

Happy with the finished product and packaging. Took a total of 7 hours to assemble. 3 hours by myself to assemble all the base legs and curve beams. Attached c1&c2 to legs before standing up and attached them to the other legs standing up. 4 hours to stand up and assemble everything else with one other person. Used power tools to help speed up assembly. Note, use a long Allen wrench for screws FF & EE helps with pushing them through the beams and getting them in the screw hole( a piece of plastic helps to keep the screw from falling off the allen wrench placing it over the allen head.

Excellent quality. It came really fast and the delivery company really did an excellent job. It took me a while to find this pergola. The price is right and it took us a few hours to build it because is a big pergola but the instructions are so easy to follow. I'm really happy with this purchase and it looks really good in my backyard.

The Pergola is beautiful, but one main support had a good size dent. As well as one or two other pieces, but those we were able to kinda straighten. A few of the bolt receptors also did not hold their welds and we couldn’t fully tighten. I called Sam’s today and we agreed on a credit amount to my account.

There were several scratches right down to the metal due to shipping. There were also dents. The box had some serious damage on one end when it was delivered. We called and there is no touchup paint available. The shades bind up sometimes as they are pulled open. It took two of us about 10 hours to put together (we are both 69 years old). Overall we really like the look of the pergola and the shade it provides.

While the structure itself looks nice, it is worth noting that rust started to show up the first week it was up around the top screw holes. Also, the panels that slide on the top aren't designed very well, we have 1 panel that scrapes the sides of the track and is very hard to slide open and shut. The biggest issue we had with the item was that it was packaged without proper protection and had multiple parts damaged during shipping. The number to call on the box gets you to a person who tells you that you need to email someone else to get the issue resolved. When you email that person, they are not very responsive and they tell you that when they are done reviewing your case, it will take 3 weeks to get new parts and you'll need to return the broken parts. I'm hoping that means we can return the broken parts after we receive the new parts and not before. I am very disappointed with the responsiveness of getting help with the delivery issue. We received this item 2 weeks ago (which is also the same day I called to tell them about the broken parts) and we don't have resolution on if they will send us replacement parts.

For starters, the delivery person that came did not call to let me know when he was coming, then was rude when he got there. Then I get home to find that the boxes were damaged, which ultimately led to about 10-15 pieces that were damaged. With no sort of Sam’s Club support, and very little time (due to an event that I had coming up), I basically had to use a mallet to somewhat pound the pieces back into the shape that they were supposed to be in. There were several that were bent, and many that were scratched pretty badly. The instructions were just ok, as there were several things that you kinda had to figure out on your own. Overall, we were able to get it out together in about 5 hours. Once it was put together it looked nice. But it was not a good experience at all.
