Overly complicated

Cameras easy to install. Kinda a pain to get them working. Can't get them to connect to app and DVR at the same time. Chatted with technical support and they seemed kinda rude and wouldn't listen to me. They have a lot of functions that seem over the top. Would be worth the money if they were easier to use.

Buyer Beware! Mobile app does NOT work!

Buyer beware! Read up on this system before you buy. The mobile app that allows you to check on your cameras while you are away does not work. It's a shame, because the cameras and recorder work wonderfully. You just cannot see the recorded 'events' on your mobile app which renders the whole system useless. The customer support team is aware of the issue and does not have a solution. After six very frustrating hours with customer support we returned the system. Again, do your research before buying this system!

Night Owl camera suck

These cameras are great when they are working. But if you need customer service or tech support from Night Owl, they SUCK, they are TERRIBLE. They can't help you. They hang up on you, you can't understand them, the customer service and tech support is PITAFUL at best. They tell to restart the system, turn off the system. Everybody knows that, but this is about all they can do in trying to rectify the problems at hand. They change "(upgrade)" there APP and it messes everything up. Then they cannot rectify the problem with the cameras. They say they fixed and updated the APP but they just placed some updated language in the description of the APP. They have not fixed anything. Sams probably needs to stop carrying this camera system and go to another brand the is better and more reliable. This product is hurting the reputation of the Sams store brand.

Do not buy! Horrible range!

Horrible range rsulting in choppy recordings. I even bought the range extending antenna and still no change! The furthest camera is only 50ft away! So much doebthe claimed 300 ft range!

Dense objects like bricks and concrete more quickly reduce range versus drywall and other objects. Your order includes a one year warranty against defect or failure. Garage company, will update their software on future apps and not include prior customer equipment to force you to buy new. App use is horrible and customer service is even worse. Stay far away! I have 2 complete home systems from them that are now useless due to software updates.

Who’s in my house

Works well while in your house. Traveled 900 miles away and the cameras are sending me notifications that someone is inside my house but I can’t connect to my cameras . I get error messages or it’s offline and if you can connect it takes a long time.

Doesn’t connect to app half of the time.

I bought these expecting the bare minimum to work. When I try to check them to make sure my dogs are ok while I’m at work the system says offline randomly and won’t allow me to connect. This could last for a few days then starts working again. I’m very disappointed. Will not be buying from them again.
