bought nightowl wireless with 8 camera and couldn't get two cameras to work and the spot on none of them wokk

They did not have the product in the store, so I asked and they ordered it for me. With the discount even though the discount was about to expire. It took a few weeks to get it in but they did pull through. This was very easy to install but I did have to get tech support to help me with the app.

Ok. So I bought 2 of these cameras. I didn't want to pay a subscription fee. I bought two micro sd cards 128gb to use for storeage and recording. I like the fact i can take pictures and they get saved to my gallery on my cell also the manual recording also goes to my gallery on my cell . Sofar 6 months I've had these cameras and they seem to work good. Sometimes a little behind but that could be my cell cause I have 1gb wifi and it is high speed. I also like the features that come with this camera. Was quik and easy to set. Came with 2 batteries each. I bought 4 more batteries and a charger cause 2 batteries don't last but 3 weeks if you use these cameras everyday for recording. Also I bought the solar panels so i wouldn't have to charge the batteries so often getting ready to connect them 2day. We'll see how they work out. The picture is very clear whether it's a recorded video,picture,or live. Just can't seem to figure out why sometimes the cameras are a little behind but all in all good cameras for the price.

The product information is very deceptive. I primarily purchased this camera because of its ability to remotely operate and move the camera, which the product description does not mention is only available as a stand-alone feature. The stand-alone setup is not user-friendly.

Have spent months yes months working with this company to solve recording issues with their product. First if you are having an issue adjusting the zone sensitivity for each camera under record settings it’s not just you. We tried it on 4 different phones and the system will just reset it to medium if you set the lowest setting. They tried to play it off as a phone issue. Nope. Ultimately they didn’t address the issue and implied a refund and then recanted because it went past 30 days even though we had been working the issue. To make matters worse during the troubleshooting they shipped me a replacement nvr and put it is a large usps mailer box with absolutely no packing material. Ultimately this was not a fix. This system will say it sees a face or car when there is nothing there. The main reason I wanted to adjust the sensitivity. Just so you know they use the same software on all their kits so I would avoid them all together. If I could give 0 stars for this company I would. Absolutely terrible experience and product.

this is the (2nd) and last time i will ever waste money on night owl products, mine work but after having another brand in between that worked great the phone app totally sucks it spins and comparred to the last system that worked fine for over 5 years, this is very slow hard to look at previous recordings cameras aren't very clear, just because its on sale my opinon is pass on night owl.

If you can keep the cameras withing 10 feet of the DVR they work great, otherwise it is nothing but trouble. Support tries to say walls are an obstacle that causes interference but these are outdoor cameras. The system will only use it's own built in wifi network, not your homes. I wish I could return this system...

My old system was on its last leg so I purchased this Night Owl on the recommendation of a friend. Have replaced my 4 camera HD system with this newer 6 camera NVR 10 channel. It really is an improvement over what I had. The picture both day and night, is much clearer than before. I am pleased with this system.

Signal is poor and you cant loop through cameras to increase the signal like you could in the previous version I had. Looking for an antenna to boost signal with no luck. not sure why yall removed the option to loop through cameras to help with signal but it not a good idea.

It was easy to set up and install the cameras. The video is crystal clear. Just bought 2 more cameras to complete my property surveillance.
