Overall I like this safe. The shelves are adjustable and removable. Its very sturdy. Looks good. Lots of room. Keep in mind when it says... •ETL verified water resistant in 12" of water for 72 hours. That really means 12 inches of water from the floor not above the top. It could probably survive about 18 inches of water. However the water proof seal does not go across the top of the door; only across the bottom and the sides. So it cannot be submerged totally even for a few minutes. The plus side to that is it doesn't tend to build up moisture inside. Like some other owners. Now I did have problems with the keypad not opening the door. However it turned out to not be the key pad - its the door mechanism. I did not want to lug 163 pounds back to the store so I opened it up with the key and took the back panel off the door to investigate. Turns out there is a pin the must drop down to allow the door lever to operate. You have 4 seconds to do so after entering your code on the keypad.. If the handle is even slightly to the left (It opens left not right) the mechanism presses against the pin and the door cannot open. I have to tug the handle to the right before I enter my code so the pin is free to drop. There is no adjustment inside and I could file off the end of the door mechanism, but the method above works fine for me. It would have been helpful to know which way to move the handle while I was struggling with it, but the instructions just say "enter your code and open the door".

Have only just installed the safe, so really no basis for a full review, but other than having to wrestle a pretty heavy and bulky package down my steps by myself, the safe was straightforward to set up, and the locking mechanism is functioning smoothly and interior is quite sufficient for my needs.

I bought this about a month ago and we are Very happy with it. We first bought a finger print access safe-not from here. It may have worked 5 out of 20 times, and that may be an exaggeration. We returned that one and bought this and we are happy we did. It's quick (the most important feature) and easy.

Excellent build quality and easy to program. The website to register you safe is a hidden gem. You can store your combination, and key id's for safe keeping and cloud access. Additionally, you can order extra/replacement keys. I am very satisfied with my Sentey Safe. Being both fire and water resistant I am very comfortable storing my documents inside.

The safe was great for its size for home use. It is a bit expensive but for the features and size it seems equivalent to other manufacturer products. It came with two adjustable felt covered shelves. The skeleton keys are necessary if the battery operated keypad failed for any reason, which is great. But also a security risk if you happen to keep them any were near the safe where they could be found. The keypad is plastic device that takes AA batteries. Nice that there is factory key that can be used if you forget your custom key configuration. Again, keep that with the skeleton keys, not in location accessible near safe. I still bought water/fireproof sleeves for our documents just in case as well as documents put on to shelf not close to base. There are two holes on the back which do not seem to be blocked. For mounting I assume to back wall. Plus the two holes for bolting to floor. So just in case got sleeves as extra layer protection for the docs. The thinness of the base where the bolt holes are of concern to me. Meaning, I could rock the safe a little as the thinness flexes a little after bolted down through the. But, if someone plans to try to take the safe it will cause them some effort. Enough to make noticeable noise if you are home. Also those holes even with the little rubber disks provided still is a possible water breach. Would be better to have a more pliable plug to use over the bolt heads. There were reports of people using circular saws to gain access into the safe. But then again any safe is likely be accessible given heavy duty saw The only complaints are the insufficient screws (plastic anchor) provided (we got more appropriate cement wedge anchor bolts). The other minor complaint is the interior openings at base for bolts, leaves holes in the fabric. It would have of been nicer had another fabric covered plate to lay over bottom been provided to cover them up. So far its great. But time will tell.

We really like the safe. It is strong, secure and large enough to hold the documents we need to protect. The new/rubber like smell inside is a little too much but I hope that will fade with time. The door is very heavy which makes it harder for me to close. I have to put my whole body into it to close the door and then turn the handle to latch it but although that is a bit hard for me it shows the good strength and security that the safe has.

Being only 163 lbs, I was able to load it up into my truck by myself. Everyone seemed to be too busy. As for as the safe, SentrySafe has always been a good product. Directions easy to follow and that made it easier to secure to the floor. And Yes I'm Already Recommending It To Friends

Perfect size safe...170 pounds is nice and heavy and able to be placed in areas where it will take some time to move. Comes with bolts to secure to floor. My safe arrived and the digital combination keypad had a problem where it wouldn't open so the customer service team walked me through steps of cleaning battery terminals trying different sets of batteries then to finally ordering a part to replace. The safe comes with a key so thankfully I can still use it. I wish the safe was working the way it should when I received it. I am now waiting for 2 months for the part to come in. Kind of a pain to use the key b/c I have to remove the keypad each time.

Just the perfect size and weight. Takes 2 people to move it but even left unbolted from the wall, it would take a group of thieves a long time to carry or drag this safe out. Setting the electric lock was extremely simple to do. Heavy duty construction and thickness gives me the peace of mind knowing my valuables are safe.

It's a great safe, but you have to air it out for a week at least. The chemical smell is so strong at first, but it goes away after about a week of airing, I stuffed some car air fresheners to finish the job. It's a little tight to close too. That's why I only give it four stars.
