Excellent Choice

I shopped quite a while for security safes. Needed to upgrade from the tiny safe I had. When I found this safe in stock at my local Sam's Club, it was an easy choice. I have no regrets with owning this safe. LOTS of storage space and more. I didn't need to bolt this unit down because it's heavy...MUCH heavier now after I stocked it full of important documents, guns and ammunition. Not even three people could run off with this heavy pig.

Exceeded our expectations

I bought this safe with the electronic keypad online and saved a bundle, although I went to the nearest Sams to see it in person first. The safe arrived within the shipping guidelines - about 6 days - not bad for holiday period. The delivery guy wheeled it right into the permanent location which was helpful. Hubby tested it a few times and then when he got the hang of it , he prepared to bolt it down to the concrete sub-floor with the bolts that came with it. They are a little tricky to get in because they are long and there was not much room to work in but once they were in, the bolts are not visible at all and it isn't going to be easy if anyone tried to yank it out! The safe opens quite easily, once you learn which way to turn the handle, and is quite spacious for the price. We chose to remove one of the shelves because we wanted to put some files in there in addition to the few trinkets we own. Great value!!

Verified Purchase

Good Enough to Recommend

Safe has all the basic features that one might ask for in a safe. The only shortcoming we found was the shelves are weak and cannot hold much weight. Forget about storing coins on the shelves.
