half-bake rotisserie chicken

I have been going to this Sam's since the day they opened, and I have never bought a rotisserie chicken that was done all the way through. why are all of the rotisserie chickens from the Sam's in Pooler, GA not cooked through and always bloody near the bones? We buy at least one a week, because they are flavorful and we cut them up and use them in everything, but not until we finish cooking the in the air fryer. Like I said, for years we have been doing this (since the store opened) and we have yet to bring home a rotisserie chicken from Sam's that is cooked through. The are always bloody near the bones.

The value is beyond great!

To give you an idea of how great this product is, some of you may remember Kenny Rogers Roasters. They still have them in Singapore. If you check out the menu there, a whole rotisserie chicken is 54/00. The exchange rate for USD to SGD is .75 in USD is 1 SGD, which means, in USD the price is 40 dollar for 1 whole chicken! In these inflationary times Sam's is fighting the good fight and may they prosper as a reward!

Great Chicken at a Fair Price

Man, you can't beat this chicken for a cheap, healthy meal to feed the family. They are larger than any other rotisserie chicken you will get from another store and at $4.98, you won't be able to beat the price either. One of the best reasons to have a Sam's membership.

Three spoiled rotisserie chickens!

I purchased three rotisserie chickens and deboned them when I got home. I didn’t notice a bad smell until I put the chicken into a plastic container, refrigerating each one as I completed them. I then took the carcassses and boiled them for several hours. My house smelled so bad that I had to light scented candles all night to keep from getting nautious. I purchased these at the Greensburg, PA Sam’s Club. It will be a long time before I can even look at chicken!

Rotisserie Chicken

Great tasting, juicy and full of flavor. Sometimes you may get them that are slightly a little undercooked. You can't expect for them to temp every single part of the chicken. You can always throw it in the oven when you're about ready to use it. I like my skin a little bit crispier so I always throw mine in the oven for another 15 to 25 minutes. I use mine for soups, salads, fajitas, etc.

Never Available!

I know that the roast chicken is considered a "loss leader". Sam's Club has drastically reduced the rotisserie chickens they are making available. For the last month they never have the chicken out. They don't have a clock to show when the next batch are ready and today (Sunday) I went in the early afternoon and was told they would not be ready for a 1 1/2 hours. This feels very purposeful to me and it is getting annoying.

Go-to for us when we’re craving something tasty!

The Member's Mark Seasoned Rotisserie Chicken is a go-to for us when we’re craving something tasty, savory, and convenient to add to a wild rice stew. This chicken is beautifully cooked to perfection, with meat that’s tender and juicy, and skin that’s wonderfully seasoned and crisp. Each bite is packed with flavor, and the seasoning blend is spot-on, adding a deliciously savory touch that makes this chicken a standout. Not only does it taste amazing, but it also looks beautiful on the table—perfect for quick family dinners or even when hosting. It’s a fantastic option when you need a flavorful main dish without the hassle of cooking from scratch. If you’re looking for a ready-made chicken that’s high quality and full of flavor, the Member's Mark Rotisserie Chicken won’t disappoint. Highly recommended!

Extremely Dry and Overcooded

Sam's has always been our Big Box store for everything....except the Chicken!! They always overcook them to 185 degrees. food saftey says Poultry is safe at 165 degrees. I understand they want to cover their butts, but 20 degrees is a bit much. I'm not sure if it's just the club I go too or not. I usually go to the C warehouse for the chicken even though it's out of the way. Only use Sam's chicken in a pinch when I'm pressed for time.

Smaller Chickens

I bought a Rotisserie chicken today, they are getting smaller again. Also most are around 3 hours old, been told 2 hours is the limit. After digging through chickens found 1 around 2 hours. I usually shop Sam's Sunday's 10am to noon and many times they are 3 hours or older unless I catch them comming out of the oven, but the ones already out are 3 hours plus conctantly at Sam;s in Cookeville, TN.

Chicken Addiction. Everyone do the Chicken Dance.

Hi, I have a problem, I'm a rotisserie chicken addict. So are my dogs. We must have rotisserie chicken multiple times a week. Sam's is my supplier.... These are the biggest and best you can get. You can add this chicken to just about everything and it makes it better. I can't even throw away the bones and junk until I make soup stock. The dogs also make me ladle stock over their food. If I don't, they give my the side eye and won't let me get out of the kitchen unless their meals are properly prepared with chicken and stock.
