under 3 lbs

I buy a rotisserie chicken almost every week and they are have always been over 4lbs and some closer to 5. Unfortunately the one I got today didn’t even make the 3 lbs (including the container) listed on the label. Also unfortunately, they cooked it like it weighs over 4lbs and dried it out. Very Disappointed long time customer.

How did I ever live without this?

I grabbed one on a whim, because a 3 lb. plus chicken already cooked and ready to go for $5? No brainer. How and why I've never done this before is undeniably dumb. It's good. REALLY GOOD. My kids love chicken alfredo, so I shredded this up, and added it to the sauce. Incredibly fast dinner, very little work. This will now become a weekly thing, it will also be perfect when making a burrito bowl ( the cheaper homemade version of that Mexican restaurant the kids also like) . Just get one and goggle recipes that you an use it for. I dont think I'll ever buy chicken breast again.

NO CLUCK CLUCK HERE TONIGHT

Bought chicken for dinner. I always buy these awesome chickens from Sam's, how can you go wrong? What I feared the most actually happened. I began cutting the chicken instead of a nice clean cut with clear juices...stringy, raw chicken with bloody juices running through. I couldn't believe my eyes! NO CLUCK CLUCK HERE TONIGHT!!! A $4.98 chicken is not worth being sick, perhaps time to become a vegan!!!

Raw!!! Prepare to cook!

I do not know how the health department passes the rotisserie chickens. I buy tons of them for various reasons and always, always have to cook these because they’re raw in the legs and thigh area. I’m talking runny, bloody thighs. I’ve talked to the people behind the counter and they’re clueless. Don’t expect this to be something you can just go to the house and eat, because you can’t. FYI: chickens have to reach 165 degrees to be done and that means the thigh area too.

Smaller chicken

For years I have bought the rotisserie chicken, love them. Recently I purchase of 2 rotisserie chickens, noticed they are much smaller, what gives ? The rotisserie chickens have has always been 4 lbs. Now 3 1/2 lbs rotisserie chickens ?! I would rather pay a dollar more ($5.98) for a 4 lb chicken. I get it they're trying not to raise prices so they went to 3 1/2 lb chickens. Sorry I won't be buying rotisserie chicken anymore!

Cheap Chicken Gains

This chicken is undefeated. For five bucks you get an entire bird that is somehow always hot and ready like they knew you were coming. Skin is seasoned perfectly, meat is juicy, and honestly it feels like theft for a fiver. I grab one after work and just eat chunks of it like a caveman straight from the container. Zero shame. High protein low effort. Cheaper than fast food and actually tastes better.

GREAT FOR DOGS

3-4 pounds of cooked meat for less than $5. Seasoned well & excellent taste. I use a little of the white meat & feed the rest to my German Shepherds. They love it & is less expensive than canned meat dog food. Much better taste than competitors chicken.

Perfect!

Does this chicken need another review? NO! But I can't help myself...I LOVE it! I could eat it several times a week and not get tired of it. My only complaint is that the Club sometimes runs out of the chicken and it takes more than an hour to cook a new batch. Keep them coming!!!!!

Tastless Chicken

Bought a chicken that was just taken out of the rotisserie. Got home and was very disappointed because it was tasteless. We use to buy Sam's Club Rotisserie Chicken all the time and it was very tasty months ago. By looking at the reviews here, I may not be buying this chicken again.

Getting smaller! 😥

We love these chickens and purchase at least one or two every time we come. Always delicious, but when we picked up two last week, they were SO MUCH SMALLER! Completely shocked, as they looked like they might be about 2 pounds smaller than normal. Is this a fluke? We sure hope so. Disappointed in what is normally a slam dunk for Sam's Club.
