I don't think I can buy a whole raw chicken for this price; it is perfectly [simply] seasoned and roasted. I have set it atop vegetables in the oven or crockpot and let the juice season them. Most times I strip the meat for chicken salad, chicken paprikash or chicken with spaetzle, then boil the skin and bones for broth.

You can't go wrong with these! I'm so happy that they still come in box so that you can manage the carcus best as you debone and for storage. Trying to cut one from their competitor big box store is a nightmare. (Once you take the other stores chicken out to cut a serving, it's literally a hot mess, LOL) . My only complaint is that Sam's seems to have changed these to "seasoned rotisserie chicken" instead of just plain. It now has spices on it, bummer. You can see the coarse black pepper on it. I can no longer eat them now because I am HIGHLY allergic to the seasonings. I hope Sam's will consider not using spices so that people with health issues can enjoy them.

Such a great price than our favorite grocery store. We enjoy getting this about once a week, eating our favorite pieces when they are tender and fresh, then serving up pieces to our dog during the week to make his kibbles taste better. He licks the bowl and so would we!

I generally love the rotisserie chicken from Sam’s, big fat chickens at half the price of the tiny ones elsewhere. But the last one I bought was not thoroughly cooked and was a bit bloody when I was slicing into the breast. However, I will certainly buy another in the near future .

Not happy at all with this purchase. This is the first time I've gotten a rotisserie chicken, and it was not thoroughly cooked. Inner sections of the bird were still a bit raw. I was 20 miles away from Sam's at home when we discovered the uncooked sections. Luckily with this chicken we planned to debone it. So, with the uncooked parts and some olive oil, I was able to cook the raw pieces.

I would easily give this 5 stars but unfortunately I'm not sure if this is just my club in Jacksonville, North Carolina but they constantly undercook the chicken. Specifically recently I've had to place the chicken in the oven when I got home. Its visibly pink. I get that sometimes method of cooking can give a pink hue but this was visably undercooked.

I wasn't as happy with this last purchase as I normally end. This one wasn't cooked completely and there were raw spots. I finished carving it and put it in the oven for an additional 20 minutes to finish it. I like the seasoning on these and they always have a great taste.

This cooked rotisserie chicken always tastes great and is enough for 2 dinners for 2 people. And at $4.95, you can't beat it! We often go to Sam's Club to buy the rotisseries chicken for dinner and end up buying more things at Sam's Club while we're there. I hope Sam's Club continues to offer this rotisserie chicken at this great price as long as they can!

My recent purchase of a roast chicken was an absolute disaster. I brought it to the table still unopened after I had prepared sides for dinner. You can guess my shock as I opened it to slice it in front of my family and 4 huge flies had been closed up inside the container ever since it had been packaged. Needless to say there we sat with sides and no meat for a meal. But then who would feel like eating with such a sickening thing on your table. I did call customer service and report it and she refunded my money which is irrelevant after such an ordeal.

The chicken was great as usual. The problem was that all of the chicken in the display case were labeled as ribs, which costs more. The price was corrected when an employee was notified. Also, a door checker caught this and had the customer contact some to correct the price.
