Every time we are at Sam’s, we pick up a rotisserie chicken!!! Every. Single. Time! The only time we don’t is if the case is empty!!! The stores we visit, the chickens are cooked perfectly with the perfect amount of seasoning! They recently changed the packaging, which we like better. The new packaging seems to be sturdier and seals tighter compared to the older packaging.

Good chicken at an excellent price. Hint: they might be a bit underdone. When I get it home, I transfer the chicken to an oven-safe dish, heat the oven to 350°F, then put the chicken in for 20 minutes. Thrift idea: I save the bones in the freezer with vegetable peelings. When there's enough, I make a peelings and chicken bone broth for our dogs. They absolutely love it as a topper on their regular food. (No onions peels though. Onions are bad for dogs.)

It tasted great the first day, but on the second day when we tried to reheat it it had a foul order. Not sure exactly what happened there. Also found a fly in the middle of the second chicken we ordered. Not sure if it was was already like that or if it found its way in somewhere from the store to our house. I probably won't be buying their rotisserie chicken.

The quality control has left the building on this item. First, more often than not, one of the quarters is not cooked through. If that quarter is fully cooked the other side is burnt. I buy these regularly as a lunch for my employees. Some days I will purchase multiple birds so the employees can take something home to have a quick dinner for their families. While we are able to cook them further, the reason I purchased the chicken is because it’s supposedly fully cooked. Secondly, the chicken has lacked in seasoning the last two times I bought the product. Again, I shouldn’t have to fix the problem after purchase. And since the seasoning has been lacking, when I gather the scraps & bones from the freezer to make broth, the broth is no longer as rich tasting as it’s been in the past. The seasoning issue has happened at three different warehouses so I think Sam’s may be skimping. I didn’t purchase any today because of the disappointment in the last two purchases..

I love the price and the size ... lately it hasn't been cook thoroughly. Thats not a big problem when I am coming home I can put it back in the oven and it will not be over done when time for dinner.. but not a good Idea for a picnic or ready to serve event.

I was so excited to buy a rotisserie chicken. It smelled so good when i was near it that my mouth practically was watering. Well, when I got back to get to eat it. I cut it open and it was raw, yes raw!!! I was so disappointed and disgusted that it was imaginable. I'll never trust a rotisserie chicken from this Sam's location

I don't know where these chickens come from and I don't know what you do to them but they are the biggest, juiciest, most delicious rotisserie chickens I have ever had in my life!! The fact that you are selling them for $4.98 is unheard of! This is incredible! The fact that you can feed a whole family at a fair price is a true gift to the community.

I just LOVE these. The chicken is so big. I can use this chicken to make 3 meals. We like to eat the drumsticks and thighs. Then I can make two casseroles from the rest. I get almost twice the chicken for close to half the price of the ones I get from the supermarket.

Love that chicken!!!!! This is the best deal in town, a LARGE chicken, perfectly seasoned and cooked to a golden brown all for $4.98!!!! One Sam's chicken will feed 3 adults dinner and have enough chicken left to make chicken salad! One of my favorite fast meals.

The chicken has a good flavor but I always have to cook in oven about an hour on low temperature to be done enough for me to eat. I usually buy 3 or 4 at a time because since so reasonably priced I also buy them to feed my 2 dogs mixed with their dry food. Naturally they love the chicken and eat the dry food better with chicken mixed in it.
