I had been buying this chicken salad weekly and it was so good but recently the recipe changed and it is terrible now. I had to throw 2 full containers of it away because I thought the first one was a fluke. Nope…I believe they have added sweet pickle relish to it and ruined it.

“ I received a free sample for my honest review”. In all honesty, this has got to be one of the best chicken salads I have ever had. If I didn't know that I had gotten it from Sam's I would've thought it was homemade! The seasoning was perfect. The chicken was cut proportionately and the mayonnaise used was just the right amount. I will definitely be purchasing this in the future.

Definitely not the same product anymore. This used to be one of our favorite quick lunches because it HAD hearty chunks of chicken and a great balanced flavor. The recipe has definitely changed! And NOT for the better. Now it's more like a finely mushed-up soup with an odd taste and barely any real chicken texture left. The garlic flavor is overpowering and completely takes over what used to be a nice chicken flavor. Really disappointed with the change. We will definitely not be buying this again.

I've bought this chicken salad on multiple occasions along with the butter 🥐, it's always been amazing! The last 2 times I was in Sam's, I noticed the chicken salad looked different. I didn't buy it the first time because I hate change. But, this time I went for an easy summer dinner. 🤢🤮 That's not Mayo, the chicken is blended to like a paste. My husband who will eat almost any and not complain said “don't buy that again!” Please Sam's bringing back the original chicken salad recipe that everyone loves! ❤️🥰

i ordered this chicken salad for delivery and instantly noticed a different appearance of the product. i would have returned it if i had the time. We did eat about half of it, but was disappointed in the taste %26 mushy texture. please bring back the original recipe- it was one of our must buys, now it's a pass.

The recent changes to the Member's Mark Rotisserie Chicken Salad (priced per pound) are deeply disappointing. The updated recipe has shifted away from what made it a staple, resulting in a product that feels inferior in both flavor and quality. The most glaring issue is the overwhelming amount of mayonnaise, which masks the taste of the chicken and creates a heavy, greasy mouthfeel. Furthermore, the addition of pickle relish is an unwelcome change that introduces a clashing sweetness and acidity that does not belong in this classic profile. Beyond the flavor, the overall texture has suffered significantly, losing the hearty consistency of the previous version. None of the modifications have improved the product; instead, they have compromised a once-excellent recipe. We strongly urge a return to the original formulation to restore the quality customers expect.

Waste of $10 to try the "new" recipe. How difficult is it to take chicken breast, ACTUAL MAYONNAISE, celery, onion and seasonings, and mix it up? It almost seems the chicken was put through a blender. Instead, you get a literal mash-up of bad-tasting, over-salted, watery mess that clearly does not have real mayonnaise in it. Sam's always seems to over-season; over onion; and over garlic everything. Not a bit better than the old recipe; and probably worse.

Purchased this for the first time tonight and it's awful! I don't understand why it's called rotisserie chicken (assuming it was going to be made with the fresh rotisserie chicken) when it's obviously made with canned chicken. Very disappointing and misleading.

The Sam's club rotisserie chicken salad used to be a go to favorite, but I don't like the new recipe. The switch from celery to sweet relish and shredded chicken ruined the former delicious chicken salad. There's no redeeming it. I won't buy it again unless Sam's brings back the original recipe. Please bring back the original recipe.

First time buying and trying this, and let me tell you, this was the worst chicken salad I've had. It was extremely salty, and the chicken tasted like canned chicken with a texture similar to canned tuna. I'm really disappointed. It's called “rotisserie chicken salad,” but nothing about it tasted like rotisserie chicken. I expected fresh flavor and real shredded chicken, but instead it tasted overly processed. I could barely finish a few bites before throwing it away. For the price I expected something tasty. Unfortunately, I would not purchase this again or recommend it.
