The Sam's club rotisserie chicken salad used to be a go to favorite, but I don't like the new recipe. The switch from celery to sweet relish and shredded chicken ruined the former delicious chicken salad. There's no redeeming it. I won't buy it again unless Sam's brings back the original recipe. Please bring back the original recipe.

Used to love this and about 3 weeks ago, I noticed the celery was missing. So I cut up celery and added it. Purchased again noticing it looked different. Complete recipe change and it's gross! They raised the price, removed the veggie, and it's terrible now! Just avoid it.

i ordered this chicken salad for delivery and instantly noticed a different appearance of the product. i would have returned it if i had the time. We did eat about half of it, but was disappointed in the taste %26 mushy texture. please bring back the original recipe- it was one of our must buys, now it's a pass.

The salad was too salty and too chunky. No one was to make a sandwich or use crackers with large chunks of chicken. This was my first purchase and last purchase. Unfortunately, the Las Vegas locations rarely carry the white meat chicken salad sold in the refrigerated section like I can purchase anytime in the Texas locations. It is a shame when the packaged product is less salty than the fresh made product.

The taste is not good! I can live with the chicken being more shredded, (I prefer the larger chunks) but the taste is just plain odd and I didn't feel the best after eating it. This is not fresh and light like the old receipe and the oil separation is not appealing on the shelf or to the eye. You can tell this is an over processed food. While I used to struggle not to buy the old receipe, I will be able to resist the new one and won't buy it for sure. I even thought about returning the uneaten portion to the store and I never do that. Please bring back the old receipe!

Why why why??? Y'all changed my the recipe for my favorite item. I thought I was eating tuna salad for a second when eating it. Usually eat half a pack for a meal, couldn't even go past 3 bites. Not gonna be picking it till the other chicken salad is back

I love the salad except for the soy oil, a seed oil, a very unhealthy oil. Because of that, I rate it a 2 because it's unhealthy. The salad is very tasty, although I've had some batches that have the HARDEST pieces in it. I believe that is celery root. I can't recommend this salad until they change out the soy oil to a healthy non-seed oil. Good luck.

Furthermore, the addition of pickle relish is an unwelcome change that introduces a clashing sweetness and acidity that does not belong in this classic profile. Beyond the flavor, the overall texture has suffered significantly, losing the hearty consistency of the previous version. None of the modifications have improved the product; instead, they have compromised a once-excellent recipe. We strongly urge a return to the original formulation to restore the quality customers expect.

I received a free sample for my honest review. What's better than Sam's Club rotisserie chicken? Sam's Club rotisserie chicken that has already been made into chicken salad. this tastes like you made it with all the fresh ingredients you would use if you had time. The flavor is excellent, but neutral enough that you can add in extras like walnuts and craisins if that's how you like your chicken salad.
